Very good quality. I wrapped a bit of black ribbon between the crow and the cane. But that was just what I wanted to do.
I will be officiating a Victorian / Gothic wedding and I wanted to add to my ensemble, and saw this piece and thought it would be perfect. The unit seems very sturdy. In my case, it was one solid piece of wood (not threaded) and the "raven / crow" feels very sturdy and the entire piece feels very sturdy. I will report back after I use this for a while to see how it holds up. BUT ... it does feel much sturdier than other walking sticks I have looked at.

Great with a little modification
Upon receipt of the walking stick, I noticed that the handle seemed loose as it was threaded to the pin anchoring it to the shaft. To resolve this, I applied a few drops of thread locker I had on hand from my local auto parts store. Now it is good and solid, and doesn't move.
Also, it was a bit on the long side, so after carefully measurement, I placed it in a miter box, and trimmed the bottom end to fit. The placement of a proper sized cane tip from the druggist was all that was then needed for a great quality walking cane that is good and solid for use.
The only thing that I would offer by way of improvement to this walking cane would be if the handle could be a little longer. My hands are somewhat large, and the handle seems a little tight for use on long walks, but otherwise very well made(and more attractive than the photos appear).

Exactly what I was looking for
The raven on this walking stick looks nice and feels solid, and the stick is overall very good construction. As they say it's not made to replace a cane for walking, but it's strong enough that I'm not worried about it snapping if I put a little weight on it. It's the perfect accessory for the faerie ball that I'll be attending in a couple months, as a dark fae with a raven theme.

My husband absolutely loved this walking stick. He takes it every where. He's dropped it several times and the raven has stayed silver with no chipping. Very nice!
Well made and sturdy. Look forward to having it for many years.

I received plenty of compliments and admiring stares when I brought this cane with me to a local club event called Tribe. Everyone I talked to asked where I got this beautiful cane and I told them, historicalemporium.com. People, including myself were astonished by the attention to detail. The cane itself was VERY carefully packaged so that no harm would befall this work of art. Kudos to HE for making such a lovely cane that truly steals the show. When will this cane lose its luster? Nevemore!

A Raven walking stick is an appropriate accessory whether one is walking in the dun coloured fog of Sherlock Holmes's London or Harry Dresden's Chicago. This particular stick has the heft and balance one would expect from one twice the cost. I highly recommend it for anyone who intends stepping out in a time machine or other fantasy transport.
