Louisa Blouse - White

I love the Louisa Blouse! This is the 5th one I have purchased. I run a hot dog stand at Railtown 1897 SHP and this is the only short-sleeved white blouse that is appropriate for the late 1890's - early 1920's garb that we wear that I have found. It is comfortable, durable, and easy to iron.

wish they came in more colors in 2XX . Pretty light summer blouse .

Once again a sizing issue. was supposed to be 3x. its marked as a 3x even, so i don t blame the company but it fit my small size daughter great so at least she got a new shirt. Female sizing of items seems to be a bit of concern for me at this point.

I think this blouse really nails the vintage look and feel that it was trying for. Not too sheer for a while blouse, which is good. I'm glad that someone said it runs small--it sure does. I'm not big at all, especially on top, and the Medium JUST about fits me. Size up but give it a try. It's very pretty.

I needed a victorian era blouse to wear with a skirt I already had. This fit the bill. I wore it last week to an event and had several compliments. The fit was good. The shipping was good.

The body fits but the shoulders and sleeves are extremely large. It doen't fit for a lady.

Bought this as part of a saloon entertainer outfit. Love the style and I especially appreciate the short sleeves as performing during the summer in Texas is just plain hot, even indoors. It looks great with my Lydia skirt. Substantial material - way better than costume quality. The sleeve style is delightful as well. Historical Emporium does need a better photo of this black blouse The ruffles and the sleeve details do not show well in the existing photo.

This is a beautiful blouse. Well made, nice fabric, stylish, and true black color. I used the size chart, but for me the fit is a bit tight in the back, which appears, according to the model photos, to be normal for this blouse. It's not uncomfortable, and the front does not pull, it's just tighter than I expected. This will wear well under a vest or underbust corset.

This was my first purchase from the Emporium, after browsing and coveting for a long time. I needed a new blouse to replace my old favorite one: I wanted a white blouse that was feminine without being overly fussy, was short-sleeved, and had detailing that could work for a steampunk ensemble or modern work attire. This fit the bill perfectly!

The sizing chart was accurate, and the blouse fits me well. The fabric is sturdy but still lightweight, without being overly sheer like too many women's blouses are nowadays. Shipping was timely, too.

I definitely will make more purchases in the future!

Wanted a cooler blouse . This was lightweight and much cooler than heavier long sleeve. Delivery was very fast.

Your customer service is excellent. I ordered this blouse a size too small and returned it for a larger size and I still recieved it in time for our "Victorian Days" event. The blouse is absolutely beautiful and I recieved numerous compliments on it all day!!
