Looks good
This is a nice basic duster, it's not lined so there isn't much warmth, but layered up it's fine. It is cut very loose, so if you are between sizes, go smaller. I wish I would have ordered a L instead of XL, but I had the sleeves hemmed and it works well

The order came on time , haven't had a chance to wear yet, should of ordered size smaller, but, rolled the sleeve a litttle and all is good.

I'm impressed.
We are quite satisfied. The material and stitching are adequate and the sizing is good. It hangs on me very well. I hand washed it in the utility sink and hung it to drip dry. Didn't want to run it through the machines before I even wore it once. Even though I now think it's tough enough to handle a wash and tumble dry, I'll still be hand washing it just to be safe. I paired it with the Floyd Side-Button Shirt and a derby and am pleased with the look. It's good when the clothes look and feel properly made and fit well enough to be comfortable all day. TeslaCon here we come.

Just what I needed!
Wanted a period-styled coat for general wear on my craft-stall...and something which would cover my frock-coat and other finery. Well...the duster is a fuss-free, well-made and good-looking coat which ticks all my boxes. Affordable (UK import tax was a pain though...) and speedily delivered, I am looking forward to some inclement weather now! Many thanks, and now I am browsing your outstanding store for my next purchase. Would recommend you to anyone.

Sort-of Okay, I guess
I thought that, on the outside (and in the picture), the duster looked nice and was a great choice of a product. But, when it arrived and was actually "tried on," (as in "when my husband put it on"), it looked "cheap." Irked me, to say the least, since it was a Christmas present from Santa. (Guess Santa must be facing inflation these days, too.) The rough edge of the fabric on the inside of the front lapel isn't long enough to be fully tucked in so that it won't show with any body movement, if the duster is not fully buttoned up, which they wouldn't always be. Seems that the fabric there should either be longer (to go further into the coat front so it doesn't show), or should be more professionally finished. I tried to explain to my new husband that Santa's "beginner elves" must have made this one.

My husband runs a Living History program and is outside for about 5 hours a day, even in snow and rain. He can't wear anything but historic clothing and often came home soaked from the rain or snow, just wearing his frontier pants and work shirt and suspenders. This duster is perfect. It is keeping him warm and he still looks authentic, and he can hide some flannel jacket underneath it.
