Higher Quality then even my high expectations foresaw. I edc a schofield .45 colt and i wanted a better holster for it. This was perfect and i wear it everyday.
Ordered both strong side right handed and left handed. Both appear to be the same deign and quality and both seem to exhibit the same craftsmanship. My Rugar Vaqueros fit nicely. I was worried that the high rider belt might pose some problems drawing the revolvers and re-holstering them, but in competition last week end, they seem to work just fine. They are a generic design, so they are not specifically fitted for my 38-357 SAAs - but again, this does not seem to be an issue. Time will tell if they are duarable enough to hold up to the stresses and demands of competition. On the other hand the price is so reasonable that replacing them every three or four years would not be a significant burden - but I do EXPECT them to last much much longer.

Excellent holster
Nice thick leather that holds its shape well and fits this style of gun properly. Snap is somewhat plain but functional.
Sometimes it works out that I will be in close proximity to Historical emporium. When these times work out to being able to pick up an item they are very helpful at letting me pick it up instead of waiting for shipping. Everyone is very helpful.

I have been looking for a holster That I could afford for a couple of years. I kept going back to this one thinking it must be made cheaper than the ones what I was looking at. Then the price came down and I had to buy it. What a suprise. I am very happy with the quality and the whole experience. Thank you.

I have been actively reenacting the Old West, since the late 1960's, and have performed in both live action shows, and films, which required extras, and stunt people, familiar with the West, and the Indian, and Civil War, periods.
But, in those days...if we could not find the actual, authentic, clothes, and equipment to use...and the wardrobe department was unable to provide the proper items...we hand made everything we wore, ourselves. There were NO places like the Historical Emporium in existence at that time.
So, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your firm's existence!
I am now 70 years old, having just reached my 50th year of marriage to the same women, whom I MET in a STUNT SHOW, playing a Saloon Girl, where I first talked to her ON STAGE, for the first time. In celebration of this anniversary, we are throwing an Old West Party, on my ranch near Austin, Texas...where everyone dresses like its the 1880's...inviting everyone we know. This is why I bought my things from you people...and I cannot be more pleased I did so!
Thank you!!
