Upon return from a successful mission, our Brass Paisley Cavalier Vest makes a quite celebratory statement of style which nobody can deny. Button up this early 19th century-inspired waistcoat and make a most dashing entrance at your ‘he’s a jolly good fellow’ soiree.

Cut from a rich tapestry fabric on the front, our waistcoat features a black satin lining and back that ties with belting. Our flat-front, fully lined vest fastens on the inside with a sturdy button and then on the outside with a row of five engraved metal buttons. The remaining row of exterior buttons are decorative to create the popular double-breasted look of the era. Another touch of elegant Regency tailoring is found at the neckline with the separation from the 2-inch, stand-up collar and 5.5” wide lapel, which is similar to an 1810 silk vest from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection. No pockets to enhance the slim silhouette.

Fashioned from a plush blend of 55% viscose and 45% polyester with a 100% rayon back and lining. Made in the USA. Dry clean only. Available in men’s sizes S–2X. Offered in several colors.

Old world class
Simply a fabulous vest. I was worried that the large pattern might be awkward, but it’s not (that having been said, I would be curious to see what a smaller pattern would look like). Only two comments: 1) The brass buttons seem rather a tight fit for their buttonholes. 2) Since the back bands are rather wide, thick, and VERY slick, it’s very difficult to secure them -- I ended up using a safety pin. Not a big deal if you’re wearing it under a coat, but possibly ugly from the back when worn alone. A clasp or buckle would go a long way!

I liked the vest, but your men's small size is just too large for me.

Fantastic waistcoat
This one makes you feel like royalty. Beautiful with a high collar shirt and cravat. XXL was a little to big for me but fixed it thightening the strap at the back.

Real Deal
Yea....it isn't cheap...and that is it. it's not! Everyone who saw this (steam punk) knew right away it was the real deal. Tight for a 2XL but very east to fix that. Very easy.
