This shirt is high quality and fits perfectly.
At 6:5" and 280#, finding costume wear is challenging. But the 3x fits perfectly.
I also have a shirt in white as well. Perfect for my various pirate outfits.
The Bellamy shirt can be worn with the front ruffle for a pirate look or without for a more gentleman look. It fits perfectly. The quality is wonderful, the customer service was 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend any products from Historical Emporium.

This blouse runs extremely big. I had previously ordered a bella blouse in large. It fit a little too snugly so I ordered the bellamy blouse in extra large. It was way too big, I looked like I was wearing a parachute. It is currently at my local seamstress's to see if she can figure out how to make it fit me.
This shirt is absolutely perfect. The quality is outstanding, the material breathes well, and the fit? Like a glove.

Shirt arrived well made, well fit, and looking nice. Not too many loops and buttons to get it on and the fit is exactly what I wanted.
This shirt was worth the price, it was fantastic when used and really felt authentic while used all day for a Renaissance Faire. The shirt was very easy to move in and fit perfectly in accordance to the sizing guide provided.

I love the feel and fit of this shirt. I've never had a shirt like this before and so was very pleasantly surprised to find I could remove the "flounce" and have a simpler, less formal, but still elegant look. Like getting two shirts for the price of one. (My daughter who is an aficionado of Victorian and Regency fashion loved it.) I was a little concerned because the shipping had left the collar badly wrinkled, but my daughter told me to just hang it in the bathroom while I took a steamy shower and voila - good as new! All in all I am delighted with this shirt.
Beautiful shirt. Sewn well. Great lace. Fits well. Too long,I wish I could tuck it in my pants. Long like a nightshirt but certainly not one. Looks great w a captains coat,and your black gloves. Wore a top hat w it.

Everything it looks to be. Would be nice though, if a stronger material could be added to reinforce the collar and help it hold its shape better.

I'm a 180 pound, tall woman who bought this shirt in a large to wear with my jacket and Victorian skirt. I could have done better with a medium. The sleeves are very long. I love the quality and the shirt looks perfect underneath my jacket.
I ordered this shirt in combination with other items for a party costume. I ordered a 2x even though I am a 1x. This was a good decision as the shirt fit perfectly. The scent out of the bag as unique but not unpleasant. After washing and ironing the shirt looked better than before. This shirt can be used for anything from baroque to pirate! This looks like something out of Errol Flynn's "Sea Hawk" wardrobe! Great fit and a ton of attitude. You can tuck the lace up into the cuff for less frill and the jabot is removable as well so you've got some flexibility with the look! Now ...... where'd the rum go??
