If you mix in society at all, our 100% Wool Davenport Coat in brown is a must for the distinguished gentleman with 19th century leanings. Not to be mistaken for a ‘great coat,’ this style is worn like a suit jacket and, according to the rules of day dress, should not be seen fully buttoned up.
Longer and seamed at the waist, our vintage-look coat is fashioned from dark brown wool, black velvet covered buttons at front, cuff and back, a black velvet collar and lapel, and intricate detailing on the back. Necessities can be kept at hand in the interior breast pocket. However, should you encounter an unsavory character in some back alley or less-traveled road, your valuables will stay hidden in two cleverly tucked-away tail pockets.
Fabric is 100% wool with a full acetate lining. Velvet accents. Imported. Dry Clean Only. Coat measures approximately 42 inches in length. Available in sizes 36 – 52. Also offered in Heathered Brown.
