Olson Saddle Pants - Tan/Black

The actual pants are OK. However, the sizing is way off. I measured them as the website told me to. I ended up receiving pants that could’ve been worn by Matt Dylan in gunsmoke.

Well made pants. Will have to have the length tailored. I will purchase more in the future

Used the size chart to get the right size, when they arrived I tried them on they were so big they fell off
To much trouble to send them back so I took them to a tailor and had them altered.
Quality was good would buy again

I'm a guide, and packer in the Frank Church Wilderness. In my journey to finding a more comfortable pair of riding pant I found these. They showed up faster than I expected, and the quality is amazing. The material is thick, comparable to Carhartt or Wrangler, and the fit was spot on. Hopefully they will stand the test and abuse through this guiding season. Very pleased I am considering ordering another 2 pair.

I have made over 20 purchases through the years and ALL have been FANTASTIC. I wear most of these on stage as a musician. Can NOT beat the quality.

I am very impressed with this product; they fit perfectly in the waist but had to have the inseam shortened.

Great riding pants, solid, I love the suspender buttons, button up front, solid heavy fabric, well tailored for riding, plenty of crotch space.

Olson by far beats the Wah type pants hands down! Better construction, fit and room. When ordering you don’t have to go up a size to get right fit. Will be ordering more Olson pants in near future.

Nice quality pants. Although all their pants apparently need to be hemmed (hence the loss of one star) they are of such nice quality I am considering buying more (now that I know my proper size and hopefully don't have to depend on their customer service replying to my email).

I ordered a 36 waist (my normal blue jeans size) and these were more like 34s, disappointing, to say the least, especially since I had to special order the size.

I had purchased clothing from another online shop. When it arrived I was disappointed with my purchase. You get what you pay for. It was not genuine material, buttons popped off, and it was a tight fit.. After that I was worried about my purchase from the Historical Emporium.
They mentioned to get a little bit bigger size for these pants (I'm a 34, they suggested a 36). The cost is more than I pay for pants. But these are special made. It was a little wait for delivery, no problem. When they arrived they fit great, lasting material and I couldn't be more pleased. I will be ordering more.

I am 6'6", 250lbs. The size I wear is 38x38. I ordered the 40x36 and the waist was right on and the length fits perfect. Who would of thought these pants would fit since my length is 38. The material is of good quality.
I am going to buy me another pair.

I ride a lot for my job. The gear I get from Western Emporium holds up to my daily wear and tear! I buy old style riding/ cowboy attire from WE because the old timers designed clothes that fit the work! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I really needed a new set of britches, my wife found your web site and we ordered the Tan/Black Olson Saddle Pants.
They arrived in less time than I had expected and the quality is a whole lot better then I expected! I used to buy another brand,
I won't say the name but I will not cry over the difference (wah! ;)
Anyway, thank you for a rugged and stylish product! These will wear like iron and look good for years to come... did I mention they are very comfortable?

I bought these for riding my motorcycle, once I had them tailored for my length. I had lots of left over material, so my tailor made me leg pockets for my wallet and glasses, now I have the ultimate riding pants, outstanding in the comfort level, in the overall fit bang on, with braces the comfort level is upped and above what you want. Did a 9 hour ride on the weekend from inland to the lakes, a lot of people had to stop and put their chaps on because their legs got cold, these pants held off the cold and then even were comfortable when we were into the heat. My pants for my month long bike ride.....thanks so much.....

This is my third pair ordered from you and the quality of workmanship and material is excellent. I do notice that no two pairs seem to fit the same way. Each of the three pairs I now have fit - but fit differently. The waist sizes are shown to be the same but they are different when I put them on.
I will definitely buy more as I need to - and want to.

Need longer inseem not everyone is under 6ft tall would buy more if they were longer
