Formal in black satin, our Inverness Cape has a showy surprise – a red satin lining. Dapper for dressy affairs or to let out your inner vampire. Generously cut to fit over the gamut of 19th century fashions.

Falling below the knees, this long coat features a full body cut and over-cape construction with buttons from the neck to waist Arm holes are provided to reach into interior coat pockets.

Fashioned a black satin exterior and red satin lining. Cowl reaches 27" down the back, while the bottom coat hem falls approximately 52". Imported. Dry clean only. One size fits most men, up to 56" chest, neck measures 20".

Note: Silver chain not included.

it's gorgeous
I was recovering from an injury and really wanted a new cape to look forward to wearing when I got better. This cape is amazing and very well made. It's high gloss satin and feels luxurious. I'm looking forward to buying the wool one as well, it's a vibe, ya'll!

Great fun and good service
I bought this cape on a whim during the sale. I had a slight snag when ordering (not their fault), but worked with customer service on the phone. My issue was resolved quickly and painlessly, and I now own a really nice piece for Halloween and theater. So much nicer than any piece of junk you'd get from a discount store.

This is a great cape. Solid construction and stitching. I am planning on wearing it for conventions but it seems durable enough for frequent wear. I am Definately recommending this product and this website to my friends.

Excellent Quality and Shiping
I ordered this cloak in hopes it would make it here in time with standard shipping. To my delight, the package arrived well before the expected date. Then I opened it. Wow what great quality. The cloak was amazing. This is not a cheap costume piece. Thank you H.E. I ordered this cloak along with the Historical Emporium's Vintage Black Velvet Smoking Jacket in order to dress as the Third Doctor from BBC's Doctor Who. Worked like a charm, and I can always dress as Jack the Ripper for those more horrifying of times. I am most certainly enjoying it. The satin has a nice shine to it so the red catches the light quite nicely. A downside to my combination of clothing is that the satin slides off the velvet so I spent a bit of time adjusting it to look right, but when I did it was glorious.
