Spats for the serious gent! Brown leather equestrian gaiters, our reproduction military style gaiters are offered to you in brand new condition.

Meant to be worn over shoes or boots to keep your pants legs tidy in rough terrain or brush. Also great for motorcyclists. Each pair has 3 side steel buckles and a strap buckle that goes underneath your boot arch to keep them secure.

Made from real leather. Imported.

One size, adjustable to fit most men's size shoes up to US size 13. Works best with a boot or shoe with a small heel to hold the strap.

Also available in brown.

Good but not great
I own a couple of pairs of the surplus Swiss motorcyclist gaiters, on which these are based. These are fairly well-made, but the leather is not as thick as the originals, nor as it appears to be i. Also, the straps are a little stretchy and the buckle-holes are small and not all punched-through. For the money, I was expecting heavier leather with better attention to detail.

I found that this product was put together wrong or incorrectly. the bottom strap that goes under the boot was reversed. Meaning the brown side of the strap was upside down. So the soft underside was showing! It had been put on upside down on this pair of Gaiters! Other than this the product is of good quality and served it's what it was made for!

Not for Large Calves
These gaiters are well made of thick and strong leather. They are, however, designed for stove-pipe legs. If you have calves they may not fit. I have raised this issue with "Historical Emporium" who were excellent in acknowledging the issue and have indicated that will explore my suggestion of providing a girth measurement at each of the straps. If this is done the product would gain five stars.
