I must just say this is absolutely amazing.
This is a very durable piece of clothing, fits great, feels amazing, absolute quality and worth every dollar.
It is a little expensive but for what you get it’s worth it.
I live in Australia, it took within a week to reach me all the way from the USA, came incredibly quick.

My husband wears vests daily and it’s hard to find them in natural fibers so when I found these I thought I might give it a try, we were so surprised! The quality is excellent, and he loves them so much we had to order another as soon as they were back in stock. If anything I think they run actually quite large but he doesn’t mind that so much. Great for concealed carry!

I dunno if Hunter Green is a fairly-new color, 'cause why didn't I order one of these awhile back? It's quite classy and tasteful and coordinates well with any other item in my 'vintage-based' wardrobe. I will say that years back I got a black one of the Canvas Work Vest model(I have 'em in many sizes and colors over the past 2 decades)... and that Black sizeL had AN INNER POCKET! Anyway, just sayin. This one's sort of a Pool Table Baize Green... mavbe a tad darker and more muted but that's the Hue. Oh and iirc I ordered it very late on a Thursday nite basic-shipping and it was AT MY DOOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON! And that was with a Black Friday Discount. I wear Historical Emporium vests all year 'round whenever I leave the house.

I have all of the work vests in each color except the leprechaun green. They hold up to daily wear and not only provide core warmth but also significant lumbar support. I sit a horse in the summer, sometimes 12-14 hours a day, and from Sept to June am either standing, sitting in a child's school chair, or kneeling all day. I couldn't do so without these waistcoats, they really do serve a purpose. It would be lovely if the lapels were actually stitched to a collar - which also serves a purpose: Keeping wind, dust/dirt, and manure out in a stiff breeze.

Canvas is best for farm work. It can be washed, does not rip easily, buttons can be sewn back on, stains go with hard work and arms are free.

Drake vest fit nice. This is too loose, unless you're fat.

The occasion was a first-person historical event at an open-air/outdoor museum. I was portraying a farmer. The vest looks great! Perfect for the event. I received many complements from other reenactors regarding its color and style.

I purchased the vest for my wild west reenactment wardrobe. It matches the material and color of a pair of pants I ordered previously from your company. The vest appears to be very high quality and should last for years, only looking better the more I wear it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had an inside pocket along with the four on the front.The fact it's made of cotton means you can launder it yourself. Just make sure you line dry it. don't dry it in the dryer.
