This dress is beautiful and well made. It's exactly what I was looking for. I bought it to wear to a themed wedding, but I will definitely be wearing it more casually too. It's a lovely fabric that feels structured, but comfortable. 1000/10.

I have this dress in two colors. Watch the sizing as I had to return the first dress for a smaller size, dress runs large.
The cut on this dress is a perfect vintage - victorian inspired style that is an everyday wear for me.
Styled in western accessories it is a wonderful addition to my wardrobe. On my tall frame this is a midi dress that looks good styled over a contrasting petticoat.

The large was more comfortable in the chest, but I needed the length hemmed by about two inches and the sleeves shortened. The red was tighter in the chest but not uncomfortable, and the sleeves and length were perfect." Love the pockets which are hidden in a side seam. Fit my larger Pixel 9 phone perfectly. I ordered both a small and a medium classic cotton petticoat. They were the same length (they reached the floor so I had to tie the drawstrings high on my waist). There is a LOT of room in both (almost enough to fit another person in it) so I went with the small as I did not need the extra ruffles around the waist. I wore it with the slightly-to-large -for-me muslin bonnet and a gray apron from another site (I had already loaned out my muslin apron which would have also worked well),

The red was tighter in the chest but not uncomfortable, and the sleeves came right to my wrist (perfect!), and length was just high enough above the ground to keep from getting dirty when I walked --which was was perfect for me So I wore the red for my event and let another slightly taller woman in my group borrow the green one. I wore a small classic cotton petticoat underneath (it was the same length as the medium petticoat) and there was a LOT of room (almost enough to fit in another person) so there were plenty of ruffes when you pull the drawstring closed. I was searching online for dresses that would resemble styles from this time period, not expecting I'd find one that is more like a recreation AND at a price I could afford. I didn't buy this to use as a costume (although I could of course do so) but simply as a dress for any occasion I'd want to dress up since it's just my personal style. I contacted customer service to ask for some more detailed measurements of the dress, and they responded very quickly with all the information I needed. Since my measurements are currently a bit between two of the sizes I went with the larger and figured I can have alterations made it necessary. Surprisingly, I don't think I'll need to. Even more surprisingly, the torso and the sleeve length of the dress are more than adequate for me - and I'm 6 feet tall! Overall, this dress appears to be well made, it has lovely detail to it, and the cotton fabric has a really nice thickness and softness. I already have my eye on some of the blouses and I've told a friend about the website because it's just such a cool find.

The dark color in the picture online does not show how very well designed and well sewn this is. Unlike costumes, this is made to last.

i’m so pleased with the quality of this dress! the fabric is so nice and thick. also… it has pockets! that was a lovely surprise. my package arrived exactly when they said it would. overall i’m very pleased.
my only gripe - it is huuuuge. i ordered a Medium as i’m 5’7” and about 140lbs and fit M for basically everything. this dress fits more like a Large! one review noted it being big and i wish i had taken this into account and bought a small. i had a friend alter it for me.

Bought this for a theater role for a teen girl in the 1830s. Worked well with period boots. Detail is beautiful and dress is well made with quality material. While length is as seen in provided pix, it is a tad on short side, so white petticoat for length may be needed.

Over all very pleases with this dress. It did loose a button the very first time I washed it, which was more than a little annoying. Other than that is is everything I had hoped for.

The dress fits my torso like a glove, but the sleeves are incredibly baggy and long. Will be getting them tailored, but other than that the dress is great. Great material and historically accurate.

Although I'm not always spot on with sizing, the fabrics used, cloth covered buttons and the attention to detail never disappoint.
This dress is very comfortable to wear and looks great!!!
For me, living in a hot climate, I would have maybe liked this dress to have a collar of some sort to protect my neck from the sun as I ride in my sulky!!

LOVE this dress. Personally this is something that I will be able to wear all the time. The quality is excellent. This is not like a costume at all, but is a great dress. For me this fit true to what my size normally is. I originally sized up using the measurements but then needed to exchange for my usual size. Exchanging was quick and easy.
