Emmeline Ruffle Blouse - Burgundy

Beautiful shirt, a bit duller of color in person and definitely bleeds a bit in the wash so follow the hand wash cold instruction.

100% cotton, blouse, I always go one size up. amply room in shoulders and breast. I wear a bit before an event to give the cotton a chance to give a little. I wore blouse to midnight Mass w/ a green velveteen skirt. (It's hard to find true Velvet) Gibson girl hair, a bit of sparkle earrings and I was ready to go. I felt modest and beautiful. Works for me. Good Luck.

Ordered medium and it was a bit too tight in the shoulders. Returned it and immediately the Large blouse was sent!

Want very much to give this blouse a five star rating because it's lovely. However I ordered a size 4X and it is small. I normally order 3X but wanted a roomier fit so am disappointed that the sizing is off. Can wear it but it's tight. I wish it was more comfortable.

I went to a birthday party and wore a black notch-collared vest and satin, pencil-legged pants. I thought that the Victorian-styled blouse with ruffles at chest and ruffled sleeves would complement the ensemble nicely giving it a vintage and classy look. It did! The item was affordable, arrived right on time, was a comfortable fit and exceeded my expectations.

Fairly thick cotton shirt, nicely designed. Ran a bit small across the chest. Did not keep as sleeves bit bulky to go inside the coat I ordered.

There's definitely some heavy starch used prior to shipping but this blouse fluffs up beautifully after being washed. The cotton is wonderfully thick and holds up well to wear. The neck is a little tighter than I expected but I've been able to make it work. That said, I'm immensely happy with this purchase. It's worth every penny.

My body is hard to fit. And I had to order the next size up which fits perfectly for me; with a little give the way I like it. Beautifully made looks and I am very happy with this shirt.

Awesome blouse!

The blouse takes a good half hour to,iron. BUT. The result is a garment that thrills me. I wore it to a special event and was (well not the Belle of the Ball) but I received numerous comments as to how attractive I looked. I had on a long pendant with a deep blue stone. In truth? I felt fabulous.
