Tobias I acquired this in order to dress as the Third Doctor for Halloween/Pop Culture occasions. I enjoy the fact that I have some length to work with as I'm not tying it in the traditional fashion. I don't know if it's a lighting thing but mine does not seem to be nearly as shiny as the one in the pictures. The material is odd feeling but it doesn't slip so I can tie it into a large bow tie without any issues. It looks really great with my smoking jacket and cloak from here.
