She had a Spencer Jacket in every color as her social calendar runneth over with soirees for charitable endeavors and appreciations of various arts. The highlight of each event was always the trays of delicious goodies that were passed about in celebration.
Adapted from a mens coat of the same name, the ladies Spencer Jacket become popular during the late 1700s. This short waisted jacket was usually made from a contrast color of the dress underneath. Usually made from a light material, this jacket was worn both indoors and out.
Features a stand collar, three buttons at the neck, and three-quarter sleeves. Back length on a Large is approximately 17 inches and should fall just below your bust.
Fashioned from 100% cotton and fully lined. Imported. Available in sizes S-3X.
