It may seem a little unusual to write a positive review for an item we returned, but the garment itself was not the issue. My wife is short-waisted and just under 5'4", so the way it fit was such that we could not effectively alter it. This is in no way a judgment of the dress itself. The material is excellent quality, very comfortable, and looks great. The finish of the garment was outstanding, with almost no loose hanging threads, which indicates time taken to do it right and a seamstress with some real experience.
Make no mistake, if the fit had been a little closer, we would have paid a bit extra to her seamstress to perform the final fitting simply because the dress was well worth a little extra expenditure. But the height of the dress and the waist issue were just a little more than we wanted to take on. Otherwise, a superb garment nd one that will serve well. Definitely worth 5 stars.
I have made numerous purchases from H-E, and have always been very pleased with the products. Occasionally, sizing may be a little off, but my experience with H-E has been no different than with any other online or brick-and-mortar merchant. Different manufacturers always have a little different way they size clothing. H-E is generally always spot on with its sizing, so no complaints at all. Thanks for the great job you guys do!
