Cloaked in decency! Our Brown Cotton Inverness Cape lends the shrewd-thinking gentleman an image of timeless civility and righteousness.
In the Victorian era, Inverness cloaks were the preferred formal overcoat to wear in rain, sleet and snow. The focal points of this traditional design include a generous size to fit over a dress coat or frock coat, overcape designed to route water off the body, and sleeveless construction so arms slip straight into two side slant armholes yet remain covered by the cowl.
This cotton cloak with black satin lining falls well below knees at approximately 52", the attached cowl measures 27" in length, and the armholes are 14". Four fabric-covered buttons fasten the front.
Shell is 100% cotton, lining is black satin. Imported. Dry clean only. One size fits most men, up to 56" chest, neck measures 20".
