The top is pieced out of eight wedges, features a button on top and a flat bill. Spotted on the heads of newsboys, shipwrights, farmers and a host of other working class tradesmen but also on well-to-do country sportsmen -- insight as to why this hat has numerous nicknames including “wheelcap,” “newsy,” “eight-piece,” “Gatsby cap” and more.

Fashioned from linen with polyester lining. Made in the USA. Elastic band for comfort. One size fits most (approximately 23 inches in circumference).
