Work vests were typically plain in design, though some featured simple stripes or patterns for added character. Worn by miners, railroad men, and construction workers, these durable vests were made to withstand everyday labor.

This vest features a high collarless design, seven faux bone buttons fastening the front, and three straight inset pockets for small necessities. Offered in several colors.

Made from a durable 100% cotton canvas exterior, self-backed, with a 100% cotton lining. Imported. Machine wash cold; tumble dry low. Available in sizes S–3X.

A high-quality product for everyday wear!

I purchased the Hartman work vest for everyday wear. So many vests nowadays, whether sweater vests, fleece vests, or cotton work vests, are too long for a guy like me (5'10"). In the old days, they knew that vests were meant to be waist-length (presumably why they often called them waistcoats). So I figured I'd give one of them a try, and I've found it to be a quality product--well designed and well made. Plus, the diamond dot pattern is something you can't find elsewhere!
