I bought this for a cemetery theater program and will use it afterward as regular luggage for car trips. It is sturdy, attractive, holds a lot and folds up into a small space.

I needed a carpetbag this size to hold the items I require while doing re-enacting. It is working out very well. I like this particular material as I felt it looked the most period (1880's) correct. It's big enough to hold a parasol and handle the change between large or small hats.
