Great quality dress

I found this to be quite well made with nice quality cotton fabric. It takes dye well (we just used RIT dye) and the floral pattern stays white which was exactly what we wanted. Be aware it is very long, so if you are average height or less, you will need to hem it. Also, the sleeve bands are pretty tight (accurate to the measurement chart with no real excess). I wish the armbands were looser because it's always easier to make it smaller if necessary.

I recently purchased the Rebecca Regency Dress to wear as a day dress for the upcoming Jane Austen Festival in September, and I couldn't be happier with my choice!

The dress is made from high-quality material and is completely lined, which adds to its overall comfort and durability. While it may not be historically accurate due to the presence of a zipper, the design features drawstrings at both the neckline and waist, giving it a charming Regency-inspired look.

As a petite person (standing at 5'), I ordered a size small. The fit is quite nice, although I did need to have the dress shortened by about a foot, which is something to consider for others who are similarly petite.

This dress is beautifully made, with attention to detail, and the sizing was accurate. The fabric is of good quality. There is plenty of material at the bottom of the dress to allow for various hemming options. I would advise keeping the leftover fabric for possible future use. It's a machined hem so hemming can be done by machine rather than by hand. I am happy with the zipped back closing as it is easier to change in and out of (and with these dresses you often need help), but some people might prefer buttons, in keeping with the period. You can always cover up the zip with a shawl. The sleeves are generous, so easy to play in. Bodice is generous, with ties to get an exact fit. A thoughtfully made dress.

I bought this to wear at Ragtime music festivals. The fabric is lovely. It is very well made. I am 5'7' tall, band size 39, and I ordered a Large. This fits but is a little long. I will have to wear it with 2" heels. At first my husband and I thought it was a bizarre fit on top, but then I figured out what the ties were for and got it adjusted to fit me. Clever. It is lovely.

I needed it for a reenactment. It was very well-made, a good fit, and I received it quickly. Would definitely order from here again.

I'm attending a Regency-themed function with a nod to all things Jane Austen next weekend. The gown, which is of a pretty, woven-patterned white cotton and features strings for adjusting neckline and empire waist, is solidly made with a lining and an invisible back zipper. The only hitch is that this gown is really long, as if made for a giantess. If I'd known, I might have specified that I'm 5'4", but as it was on sale thought it too much to expect hemming before shipment. As it is, a tailor charged me more than the cost of the gown to hem it! Ahhh, well. I will have the dress for future events and am happy with the general quality of workmanship. The tag states the work is a product of Guatemala, by the way. I will post a picture when I get gussied up for the event! :-)
