The photos are cheesy, but the quality is always better than I expect. I'm a repeat buyer and I'm sure I'll buy more pieces in the future.

Surprised how good the quality was for the price will be ordering more

The materials the clothing are made from are high quality and very authentic ... true to history! They give a very custom look and feel ... it's possible t hat these articles may be found elsewhere, but I bet it is hard to find, the selection is limited, and the efficiency of ordering is probably more cumbersome. Historical Emporium has figured out how to effectively operate a very niche market. Trust the size recommendations given on the website ... they know w hat they are talking about ... these aren't contemporary clothing styles ... they are historic styles, and therefore have differing sizing systems from todays clothes. I had one article of clothing sent in the wrong size (simple mistake), but Historical Emporium's customer service department was efficient and fixed the problem, no questions asked ... a very easy exchange!

Delivery was good. Product looks as advertised. Was purchased as a Christmas gift so don't know what the recipient thinks of it yet. He is into Steam Punk and Renaissance stuff, not me.

This is not the first time I shopped at Historical Emporium. I am a professional photographer as a second profession and a performance artist for fun. When I have needed affordable and not bespoke affordable and off the shelf quality items which are sufficiently historically accurate and ready to ship for my projects I look to Historical Emporium. I will be honest; I have had to have some additional tailoring done on some products to get exactly the look I wanted, but most of my purchases have been "Ready to Wear" as they are.
