Mr. Woodman was trained as an engineer and, with his brother, founded one of the first flour mills west of the Mississipi. The family operated the flour mill, which benefited all the local farmers, and is credited with helping to bring increased development to the surrounding area. Once the mill was established, Mr. Woodman opened a general store, which he has maintained for these 10 years past.
Essentially a business man, he has had neither time nor inclination for public office. He emphatically states that he’s better off making his views known and donating funds to support “the right answer” when necessary, but all the hot air in the Capitol is more than he can tolerate.
