This is a beautiful tie. I must have ordered the wrong color though as I got burgundy and my fiancée wanted me to get the pink to match her wedding dress. I like both colors so will keep the burgundy and reorder a pink.

The tie is of good quality, and it is very easy to take on and off. It also comes with a sparkly pin, which is a nice addition to the tie. Definitely would recommend for weddings or formal occasions.

Wore this to a wedding this weekend. It was the perfect crowning touch to my Cowboy cut tux and western vest. Looks as good as the pictures here and it arrived early. A quality upgrade from the normally seen "Police Braces" which reenacters have been using for the past 60 years. These kind of suspenders can be used for any occasion.

Even though people shouldn't see the suspenders of a proper gentleman, you'll know how dapper you are when you wear these with fancy pants and a tie. Works well for an Earp or Holiday kit, or if you just want to play a railroad tycoon. I matched mine up with tuxedo pants to portray an Englishman or a butler.

These suspenders are fantastic! They fit my 5 foot 9 inch frame perfectly and the elastic has just enough give to be very comfortable for all day wear while still keeping my trousers securely in place. The satin material is shiny and smooth, giving a sleek, upper-class look that is a finishing touch on a Black Tie affair or just a casual Victorian Stroll in Saratoga Springs. I love these braces.

At the ripe young age of 42, this is honestly my first serious pair of suspenders (that weren't clip-on and mock-ups of the ones Robin Williams wore on Mork & Mindy). Combined with a proper set of trousers, I felt way too comfortable. I need more of these in my life. These are worn underneath of the waistcoat so nobody really gets to see them... except my wife as I'm taking all of the layers off. And she seems to think they look really fine on me. As far as I'm concerned, that's the final word.

During this past summer, I was fortunate enough to work as an actor on season 2 of the hit Taylor Sheridan TV show 1923. As I had mentioned in a another review on this site, I found Historical Emporium [HE] while doing a Google search for "spats". There was a surprisingly large amount of info available. After looking as some sites I found HE to be the best; best in product selection, information about items, historical background about the products with the most important info being why these items were made and used to begin with. Proved to be very enlightening. I've used these spats with my regular shoes at the office to keep the cold air under my desk from getting my ankles too cold; I do have a footwarmer heating pad for my feet but the spats help to keep my ankles warm without having to wear ankle high boots. A surprisingly clever product that still has a place in the fashion/clothing world of today.

I was concerned about the sizing being different from what I was used to, but the measurement guide on the page was spot-on. They fit my shoes perfectly and don't impede me while wearing them. They fit over tennis shoes as well, giving me the ability to wear comfortable shoes without my shoes breaking the illusion of the overall outfit.

This pocket clock is very attractive; I like the flip-open case, and the authentic-old style Roman numerals.
