This tie fastens like a pre tied bow tie with a hook and clasp that is adjustable. The style and tie tack is unlike any you will find in a men’s store. It is short fat and flat at the bottom. Can’t wait to take off my vest and have this tie really look authentic with the high collar shirt whose buttons match the tie length.

I was looking for the Wyatt Tie made by Frontier Classic, I still don't know if it is what I bought or was it made by another company? I do have one compliant, I like to know what I am buying, I don't like guessing, if something is made by Frontier Classic or Scully or Wah Maker, etc. state that it is. I suspect that others are like me, most of the Old West clothing makers cut everything large, so when I ordered shirts even though I wear an extra large shirt for work, I order large shirts, with Vests, I know what size vests fit me in different clothing makers, but if you don't list the maker I will not order them. Got a lot of compliments

I wanted a second shirt and a different necktie for my GAR impression. Although the shirt was listed as a special order and I was cautioned that it would take longer to send, it came in record time- two weeks.

I wasn't sure what to expect but as a first time customer I am happy with my tie. The quality of the material is very nice. It's a sharp good looking tie. I also made another purchase which was a good decision. I would use this company again.

Bought this for a formal ceremony and got quite a few positive comments. A little tough to adjust the tie yourself, but a little help from your lady friend will do the trick. Paired it up with the Livingston Vest and a frock coat. Great look for the price.

easy to use looked great with outfit

I recently purchased the Black Polka Dot Cotton Teck Tie and I want to let you know how extraordinarily pleased I am with it. Every re-enactor who is serious about historic authenticity should own this item. About a year ago, I purchased a similar item from a supplier outside the U.S. The Teck Tie from Historical Emporium cost a fraction of what I paid for the overseas item, and the Emporium's version is identical to what is depicted in period photography and portraits. Kudos to the folks at Historical Emporium!

No particular occasion. This is a part of my dress up clothing now, re: the movie 'Tombstone'. Adding to it still. I will also be buried wearing it. I like the Victorian and Western clothing you offer. Contemporary styles just don't do it for me anymore. I am old-school, non-progressive, pro-gun and anti-tech.

This tie is very nicely made and looked just like the pictures. The tie stud was an unexpected surprise and makes the tie stand out.

I dress in period at a historical house in Georgia. The tie greatly enhances my appearance.

Great piece for my Doctor Who cosplay!

Historical Emporium always seems to come to the rescue for authentic but hard-to-find details that make a costume for fun or performance PERFECT! Most importantly - the customer service is SUPERB!

I bought both the red and black cravats. I like them both and wear them more than I anticipated. Not only do they work well as described on the website--although it is a little short if you wear a low-cut waistcoat--but they also work as a summer scarf to protect the back of your neck and as a lighter four-in-hand tie. The only draw back may be that the red one is very red. My wife says it makes me look like a Young Pioneer.

This accessory is simple, cheap, and effective. The cravat can be knotted and tied and so many ways, as to imply limitless uses. These particular cravats look amazing, the quality is great, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Being as it is, it does crease quite easily, so an ironing before or after each wearing would be recommended to maintain that sharp, crisp appearance.

I bought this for my son who loves cravats . I wanted a cotton one for the summer. The cravat came very quickly . My son loves ed it. I do agree with other people that it is thinner than normal cravats so it does not cover whole neck.

This awesomely simple piece of clothing adds to any 19th century outfit, be it early or even late century, regency as well as late victorian. It is long enough to be tied in different ways to add some variety to your style. I have both silk/satin ties/ascots as well as this cravat, but if you are not so much a fan of satin and silk, this is a great simple alternative. The colour is wonderful, I also ordered one in black, the price is just great!

There's not a whole lot to say for a "fake" bowtie. It looks convincing, which is the most important thing, and is easy to adjust and wear. What more would you need? It looks nice, is easy to work with, and works with many outfits.

This is a good quality tie that is stiff enough to sit well when tied. Canadians pay HST on pick up (Canada Post won't deliver if money is owed).

I recently purchased an inexpensive opera scarf to wear with my white tie ensemble, but the material is polyester and it looks and feels as inexpensive as it is. I was delighted to find -- for a very reasonable price -- a 100% cashmere scarf that is much better suited for a formal event such as the premiere of a ballet or opera. The Historical Emporium scarf is well made, a perfect size and very soft.

Great quality! Looks and feels fantastic but ultimately gave it away as a gift. I needed it to be snow white and it was ecru or off white. Scarf does have a small black tag glued to one of the ends that says 100% Cashmere Wool, dry clean only, hand made in Germany. Tag didn't bother me at all. Bought it for a black tie affair and was hoping for a warmer bright white opera scarf with my coat. Everything was spot on except the color and that isn't bad either unless your after (SNOW WHITE).

I purchased a white cashmere scarf. I really like it, but I could do without the large brand tag near the bottom. It appears the tag was put in place by some kind of heat/glue process, so it's not easily removable. The scarf itself is nice though, and I highly recommend it.

The cashmere scarf is a quality piece that is both gorgeous and soft. My son was overjoyed with the gift.

Luxurious Top Quality

It is very difficult to find a white scarf. They are more ivory, or cream colored and not a true white. This scarf is not only a pretty white color, but it is incredibly soft. Stumbled upon this website and very glad I did. Received the scarf within a week and could not be happier with my purchase.

I only wear theses shirts. I wanted to make sure I had spare collar studs. Just in case.

For use with shirt and detachable collars.

Overall a good product, fairly priced. I would have liked to see a long and short stud though. The long stud is needed for the front due to having to go through 4 layers of cloth, the short stud in the back need only go through 2 layers.

No special occasion. I have several shirts that require the studs and I wear them often.

I needed some spare collar studs, since mine always seem to wander off when I launder my cowboy shirts. These are first-rate quality at a very reasonable price, and the shipping was incredibly quick.

These Studs I prefer much more than the standard one that is sent with a shirt that requires it, because they have excellent grip based on the shape of the ball. Does not constrict your neck or anything like that either. You'll need to buy these if you lose things easily too trust me!

An additional packet of collar studs is recommended if you are ordering a shirt that requires even one. They are easily lost.

I am very happy with my purchase. However, I think your website could be way more rad with some artistic black and white photography that shows your clothing in period settings. What you have going is "okay," but it could be much better. Just my opinion. So many young people are "re-enacting" because today's world is so fake and "un-authentic." Just my opinion, Lawrence P.s. - Check out "Men's File" magazine... I am into antique bicycles and I dress accordingly whist riding my bikes.......

I recommend everyone that have a shirt with just one, to buy this, if the on you have dissapear, you have a nother to put in. And I use this type of shirt daily.
