I prefer the look of the Floppy Bow Tie on a regular wear basis. This Tie also makes a statement and when worn with white shirts is quite attractive. I might shorten the "arms" just a bit to "balance" the look - my opinion - a bit better.

This was my first purchase from the Hisorical Emporium and I have to say I'm impressed. I had been looking for something different for awhile but could never find anything that caught my eye untill I found this website. I looked through what they had and was shocked to find vintage styl clothes for a good price and I purchased a red Twin city vest and this silver puff tie. I wore this to church and other events and immediately recieved complements from my friends who kept asking me where I got it but all that aside this is a very good product I love the adjustable neck band verses a clip on and the quality is outstanding for the price and I will be getting another soon.

I acquired this in order to dress as the Third Doctor for Halloween/Pop Culture occasions. I enjoy the fact that I have some length to work with as I'm not tying it in the traditional fashion. I don't know if it's a lighting thing but mine does not seem to be nearly as shiny as the one in the pictures. The material is odd feeling but it doesn't slip so I can tie it into a large bow tie without any issues. It looks really great with my smoking jacket and cloak from here.

All their puff ties are fabulous. So far, every one I have bought has come with the tie pin. Well made enough to dress any outfit, inexpensive enough to have a rainbow of selections.
There is a little tab of fabric under the 'fall' of the tie, where you see the tie pin. It helps you stick the pin in and hold the ends up as puffy as you would like to make it.

Our grand daughter has chosen the theme of late Victorian for her wedding. Her colors are red and Gold. The first coat, shirt and pants that I ordered were too big and I needed to return them for the next smaller size. The exchange was accomplished within 5 days. A company rep. was very helpful when I called about the problem. The replacement garments are a good fit although I will need a small alteration to the vest because my middle is larger than my chest.
