Everything looks good. issue # 1 size is too big. if you are 36 ask for 38 not 4 size bigger per website. issue #2. color is bleeding. it not lot, but after handling for about 30 minutes. I can see black dye all over my hand. let it dry for a week and dye is still coming off. I am now looking for leather sealer. issue #3 main belt looks like two part. edges are sealed nice. but in the center about 6 inches, was not sealed properly. per website if you wear it no return. I do like the belt, not very good detail.

Bought this holster belt on a whim, it looked like what the real western cowboys would have and was definitely worth the price. As I sit here writing this, it is slung over my dresser, pistol at the ready. Matching black cowboy hat upon that. Fits as advertised & yes I measured how they instructed on the website. Better quality than I expected but I recommend going down a size instead of going up if you are in between sizes. But the belt and holster are beautiful.

Belt would not buckle into last hole in the belt. Rivet was showing signs of rust. holster seemed to big around the cylinder area. tooling looked great and over all construction is good. will last a long time and lots of use.

I bought this for my daughter's Heritage .22 single action revolver with a 6.5 inch barrel. Reading reviews and seeing the price I was skeptical and anticipated having to return it when it arrived. There is a lot online about how the sizing recommendations for the belt listed on the Historical Emporium website was wrong and as waste of money. Well. I ordered this (and two others for a .357 Super Blackhawk 6.5" barrel and and a .44 mag Super Blackhawk 7.5" barrel) and the online order was very easy for me, despite the website looking older then most found today (I struggle to order amazon crap effectively). I ordered the sizing of the belt as directed on the website and after submitting the order, I got an email saying it would arrive in 10 days approximately, and a tracking number (this was on Thursday night at 1900 ish) A big blizzard storm blew in the next day and by Saturday we had a foot of snow. To my amazement, I received an email informing me they would arrive before noon. And they did! They were packed excellently. After opening I was stunned by the quality. I couldn't hardly talk for a min. The revolvers fit like a glove! I put them on one by one and they fit exactly as stated on the website. The Gun Belt is perfect. Beautiful workmanship and quality. My Ruger Wrangler fits perfectly in the holster. The only thing I would do different is order the next size up. I love it, no complaints on the belt or holster at all. Will be ordering again as soon as I get my Blackhawk 357mag.

The leather is of prime quality. Really impressed with the fit, design, and authenticity. ATTENTION: The site recommends ordering 2 sizes larger than what you wear in pants. I wear size 34 and ordered a size 38 and it was still too small. I sent it back and ordered a size 40. It fits, but a size 42 would have also fit me.

Wish they had actual "womens" belt and holsters but whatever it worked well for my wife. The draw is in good alignment with draw arm and fits snugly when tightened. I did manage to measure her though - Make sure you do!! The belt will not fit well (as they suggest) if you don't. Item was as it was pictured in the pictures on the website. Leather has a great smell

All I could find for my revolver in stores was conceal and carry holsters. I wanted something that would hold my revolver securely when seated and riding and be comfortable. This holster totally fit the bill. It arrived before the ship date which was nice. When it arrived it seemed a little round and like it wouldn't hold the gun correctly. Then I read the directions, I am a man, and the holster was able to be compressed to fit the gun better. Craftsmanship is better than I expected. I will purchase from them again in the future when I get other revolvers.

I was very pleased with the Western Gun Belt & Holster . The first one ordered stated that I would receive it in a little over a week. I was surprised that it arrived in 3 days. I sent it back because I order the wrong size and was helped out very quickly. I received the corrected size still in less than what the original order stated. Bullets fit rather good, I was expecting a very loose fit but all fit great.

I like my double holster for my 22 Revolvers. I wished they were plan, no tooling, but I'm enjoying them.

To be honest I was a little bit afraid to purchase because I thought it might be just some old western replicas for costumes or something. But they turned out to be everything I hoped for. The quality and the workmanship were as good as any leather shop I had been in and looked at and the price was better. Now so you understand what I mean about where I have been and the shops that I have looked in have been every gun shop in southern to northern Utah and Arizona and California and Mexico. Everywhere I went hey had exactly the same quality and workmanship but nobody had the double holster only the single and their price was a fair bit more. I thought I would get a good price in Mexico doing some haggling but to no avail they were more money and only the single holster. That's right the single everywhere else was more expensive than this double, crazy I know. I purchased this item for my Ruger revolver. The holster is excellent quality and after following the instructions, it fits my gun very well. I followed the sizing instructions and ordered the size indicated. The belt runs on the big side. I have to put the belt in the very last hole to fit properly. If you are in between sizes, order the smaller one.

The holster was to big for my Colt 22 revolver even after adjusting the size per the online directions. Was able to put the holster (which fit my Colt 22 revolver) on the belt which came with the holster. Now I has an outfit which is usable. Would like to see holster belts, like the one ordered offered without the holster so that one would not have to order a complete outfit (belt and holster) if one's waist size changed.

Its excellent. Follow their fitment instructions to the letter. I have found zero issues with the rig, and it's a daily wearer here in Texas while I'm at work. Holds my 1873 45LC very nicely. This isn't made for fast draw if you're planning on that, there are many leather companies that make dedicated rigs for fast draw. It doesn't feel cheep or flimsy. Stitches are good and the brass is nice. Can't recommend enough. Todd

Beautiful holster and belt, obviously real and thick leather. Shells fit right in the loops and my Cimarron pistolero (colt peacemaker clone) was a perfect fit that Required no additional stretching or anything. My one complaint is my own fault, and that’s the sizing. I wear a 40 pant and using their measurements I should’ve gotten a 50 inch belt. Instead I got a 52 and it’s a bit too large even tightened all the way. I hate dealing with shippings and returns so I decided I’ll just have it adjusted later. Bought on a Sunday night received it a day early on that Wednesday.

This holster was the best I have found. Hand tooling was perfect not just pressed like others. Great workmanship through out. Should last years down the road.

This is a really nice tooled leather gunbelt, well made, heavy duty and quite beautiful. Smith and Wesson model 586 with 6” barrel fits nicely. I have 33” waist for pants, I ordered size 40, it’s fine but I could have gone 38”. There is a fairly good amount of adjustability with all the belt holes at the buckle so it’s fine. But my advice would be, if you are 32 or 33 waist, get size 38 and it will be right in the middle of adjustment. This is a very good product at any price, but for the low price they charge it is incredible! Leather goods made in Mexico are very traditional old west.

Love the color, rounds fit nicely, feels great, except for the holster is a bit small for the full size gun, my 22 caliber fit well but the.357 is rather snug, not easy for quick draw or holstered the gun, can this be fix?

I am sooo very proud of my new gun holster and belt!! I am a woman, living in the country, with rattle snakes, coyotes, bob cats, and even a mountain lion, for real, in our front yard. The holster is magnificent, fits superb at my hips, and allows me to work outside comfortably with it's comfortable fit and tie down for the leg holster, plus extra shells when I need them. What a beautiful rig. My Uberti 1873 Cattleman just slid into the holster like I had been forming it for a month. Workmanship and quality for the price is excellent. I ordered my rig on Wednesday at midday and it was at my house on Virginia Beach VA by Friday evening. My only gripe is my fault in the measuring other than that couldn't be more pleased

Nicely made. Has the look and feel of quality. My Heritage Rough Rider fits nicely if not just a little loose. But with the hamer strap it stays in place.

I have built several holsters over the years did not feel up to it at this time so I decided to go this route I'm not sorry I did I got exactly what I paid for and possibly then some it is a good quality good craftsmanship in the future if need be I may purchase another.

Unfortunately it came a little too big for me according the sizing chart, I should've ordered a size smaller but thats ok it doesn't take away from the quality. The only thing I'd change is the snap around the holster to a buckle. That thing unsnaps so easily if its touched. Hard to beat the quality for the price though

I bought this for a Colt New Frontier .22. It is quite large and will not hold it securely. If you have a 7/8 scale SAA (like a Single Six, Rough Rider or Frontier) you should look for a holster sized more appropriately for that model. For a full size .22 SAA, it should be fine. The workmanship was quite nice, though.

When I called C/S, I was told that these holsters where not made for Heritage Rough Rider Revolvers Especially the 22cal. revolver: but with adjusting per the instructions, that my holster would work. I tried adjusting the holster per the instructions for about 2 to 3 days. I finally put the gun in the holster, put the gun and holster on the floor and in stocking feet forced the metal stiffened holster to form around the gun; it worked. The weight of the gun will work the gun farther into the holster, causing the holster to open up, but apply the stocking proceedure every 10 days or so is needed to keep the correct form, to hold the gun, the way you want it, as tight as you want it. I now wonder why a disclaimer in the in the section "Western Leather Holsters for Heritage Brand Revolvers" is not present?

This was my first order with historical emporium and am very satisfied with both the product and service. This "rig" is for my heritage roughrider .22 sa revolver. The leather and construction are good quality and the sizing instructions are useful. There are 35 snug cartridge loops. You can adjust the holster for a more custom fit via a metal plate. My revolver has a 6 1/2" barrel so currently about 1" protrudes from the open bottom although I'm sure that I can further adjust it so it is flush (but this is not a real issue). The holster has an adjustable hammer loop and leg tie. Now I just have to practice my quick draw :).

got the .22 cal. belt and holster for my heritage .22 combo. ..1st off I was glad I came upon your site while researching gun belts. Best price out there. It arrived really fast and looks just like the picture...well made , heavy duty leather ! Love it.. the revolver fits like a glove..( I have the 7.5")...would fit a .45 colt..no problem. except for the ammo loops of coarse. but the holster it self could handle it. has leg tiedown..and hammer loop. My Heritage Rough Rider 22mag fit just fine in the holster. The belt works well, even on my large frame. The rounds fit a little tight in the loops, but that is okay as they will not fall out easily. Overall, a fine piece of leather.
