Bought this holster belt on a whim, it looked like what the real western cowboys would have and was definitely worth the price. As I sit here writing this, it is slung over my dresser, pistol at the ready. Matching black cowboy hat upon that. Fits as advertised & yes I measured how they instructed on the website. Matching black pea shooter to boot. YEEEHAW

I received my order and it was exactly what I expected.

Not satisfied with the belt.I ordered a 38,and even though the belt says 38,it is more like a 34,a little too small.

Better quality than I expected but I recommend going down a size instead of going up if you are in between sizes. But the belt and holster are beautiful.

Belt would not buckle into last hole in the belt. Rivet was showing signs of rust. holster seemed to big around the cylinder area. tooling looked great and over all construction is good. will last a long time and lots of use.

I purchased this item for my Ruger revolver. The holster is excellent quality and after following the instructions, it fits my gun very well. I followed the sizing instructions and ordered the size indicated. The belt runs on the big side. I have to put the belt in the very last hole to fit properly. If you are in between sizes, order the smaller one.

The holster was to big for my Colt 22 revolver even after adjusting the size per the online directions. Was able to put the holster (which fit my Colt 22 revolver) on the belt which came with the holster. Now I has an outfit which is usable. Would like to see holster belts, like the one ordered offered without the holster so that one would not have to order a complete outfit (belt and holster) if one's waist size changed.

Works well and has "WOW" Factor! I have owned a few Heritage Rough Rider pistols for a couple of years and always thought that it would be very cool to have a belt and holster set. But not just any belt and holster set. I wanted something that looked like a "High Falootin"; Gunslinger from the Old West would wear. Not a cheap imitation. Not a vinyl belt and holster. Not a plain, black Law Enforcement belt and holster. But something that had a big 'WOW' factor. I stumbled upon Historical Emporium and was amazed at the look of the many holsters, belts, combinations, even the outfits were amazing looking. I chose the double holster for the Heritage .22 pistols. The description does not do justice to the quality craftsmanship of the belt and holsters. When I unboxed it I was, first overwhelmed by the fantastic aroma of leather. Not Pleather, not vinyl. But Real Leather. Thick, strong, decade-lasting Leather. The stitching is perfect. The detail and the coloring is phenomenal. I ordered my size based on the sizing chart and it was Spot-On. Somewhere in the description or details about guns that fit I read that the Heritage Rough Rider may not sit well in the holsters, and that the 7 1/2" Barrel Rough Rider would not work well. I must disagree. The holsters have a remarkable adjustment for snug fitting. Just squeeze the holster and the hidden (Magic) band holds the holster's shape and the pistol is held perfectly in place. It’s amazing how good it feels and smells beautiful

Fit me just like the measurements that I gave you. A bit tight to get into the last hole for the tightest fit. So, having my own leather punch, I just punched one more hole in between the last one and the next one and that did the trick. Fit my Heritage 22 caliber handguns just fine. Looking forward to going out and doing some practice target shooting. Seems well made and a great price for all the effort to make something like this.

It's the rig I've wanted for years, to a T. The tooling pattern is immaculate and the ability to adjust the fit of the actual holsters is an added bonus. The color compliments the color of my pistol grips as well. Another lucky bonus! When the day comes that I purchase a pair of chromed revolvers with pearl handles, I will absolutely be buying a dual rig in black tooled leather. Take a victory lap. You've earned it.

The holster I bought is top notch quality. Very happy with it. Their customer service is phenomenal and they are reasonable and responsive. I like my double holster for my 22 Revolvers. I wished they were plan, no tooling, but I'm enjoying them.

To be honest I was a little bit afraid to purchase because I thought it might be just some old western replicas for costumes or something. But they turned out to be everything I hoped for. The quality and the workmanship were as good as any leather shop I had been in and looked at and the price was better. Now so you understand what I mean about where I have been and the shops that I have looked in have been every gun shop in southern to northern Utah and Arizona and California and Mexico. Everywhere I went hey had exactly the same quality and workmanship but nobody had the double holster only the single and their price was a fair bit more. I thought I would get a good price in Mexico doing some haggling but to no avail they were more money and only the single holster. That's right the single everywhere else was more expensive than this double, crazy I know. This was a gift for my husband and he absolutely loved it.

Wish they had actual "womens" belt and holsters but whatever it worked well for my wife. The draw is in good alignment with draw arm and fits snugly when tightened. I did manage to measure her though - Make sure you do!! The belt will not fit well (as they suggest) if you don't. Item was as it was pictured in the pictures on the website. Leather has a great smell

All I could find for my revolver in stores was conceal and carry holsters. I wanted something that would hold my revolver securely when seated and riding and be comfortable. This holster totally fit the bill. It arrived before the ship date which was nice. When it arrived it seemed a little round and like it wouldn't hold the gun correctly. Then I read the directions, I am a man, and the holster was able to be compressed to fit the gun better. Craftsmanship is better than I expected. I will purchase from them again in the future when I get other revolvers.

I was very pleased with the Western Gun Belt & Holster . The first one ordered stated that I would receive it in a little over a week. I was surprised that it arrived in 3 days. I sent it back because I order the wrong size and was helped out very quickly. I received the corrected size still in less than what the original order stated. Bullets fit rather good, I was expecting a very loose fit but all fit great.

Purchased as a gift for my father, it is a beautifully crafted belt and holster. He absolutely loves it. I will say, it is very stiff, so if you need it for a costume or part of outfit you will wear, purchase it a bit sooner to break it in a bit. Other than that, we couldn't be more pleased!!

I bought this for my daughter's Heritage .22 single action revolver with a 6.5 inch barrel. Reading reviews and seeing the price I was skeptical and anticipated having to return it when it arrived. There is a lot online about how the sizing recommendations for the belt listed on the Historical Emporium website was wrong and as waste of money. Well. I ordered this (and two others for a .357 Super Blackhawk 6.5" barrel and and a .44 mag Super Blackhawk 7.5" barrel) and the online order was very easy for me, despite the website looking older then most found today (I struggle to order amazon crap effectively). I ordered the sizing of the belt as directed on the website and after submitting the order, I got an email saying it would arrive in 10 days approximately, and a tracking number (this was on Thursday night at 1900 ish) A big blizzard storm blew in the next day and by Saturday we had a foot of snow. To my amazement, I received an email informing me they would arrive before noon. And they did! They were packed excellently. After opening I was stunned by the quality. I couldn't hardly talk for a min. The revolvers fit like a glove! I put them on one by one and they fit exactly as stated on the website. I was so impressed and shocked I actually called Historical Emporium that minute and left a very long voicemail gushing about how shocked and happy and thankful I was for them. The Gun Belt is perfect. Beautiful workmanship and quality. My Ruger Wrangler fits perfectly in the holster. The only thing I would do different is order the next size up. I love it, no complaints on the belt or holster at all. Will be ordering again as soon as I get my Blackhawk 357mag.

The leather is of prime quality. Really impressed with the fit, design, and authenticity. ATTENTION: The site recommends ordering 2 sizes larger than what you wear in pants. I wear size 34 and ordered a size 38 and it was still too small. I sent it back and ordered a size 40. It fits, but a size 42 would have also fit me.

Unfortunately it came a little too big for me according the sizing chart, I should've ordered a size smaller but thats ok it doesn't take away from the quality. The only thing I'd change is the snap around the holster to a buckle. That thing unsnaps so easily if its touched. Hard to beat the quality for the price though

The first holster was way too big. I called and left a message and recieved a call back within an hour. The rep said he will send me a smaller size and I recieved it within a few days. In the meantime, I sent the original back.(I had to eat the shipping). The rep was very friendly, the shipping is lightnigng fast and the product is one of extremely good quality. I bought this for a Colt New Frontier .22. It is quite large and will not hold it securely. If you have a 7/8 scale SAA (like a Single Six, Rough Rider or Frontier) you should look for a holster sized more appropriately for that model. For a full size .22 SAA, it should be fine. The workmanship was quite nice, though.

When I called C/S, I was told that these holsters where not made for Heritage Rough Rider Revolvers Especially the 22cal. revolver: but with adjusting per the instructions, that my holster would work. I tried adjusting the holster per the instructions for about 2 to 3 days. I finally put the gun in the holster, put the gun and holster on the floor and in stocking feet forced the metal stiffened holster to form around the gun; it worked. The weight of the gun will work the gun farther into the holster, causing the holster to open up, but apply the stocking proceedure every 10 days or so is needed to keep the correct form, to hold the gun, the way you want it, as tight as you want it. I now wonder why a disclaimer in the in the section "Western Leather Holsters for Heritage Brand Revolvers" is not present?

This was my first order with historical emporium and am very satisfied with both the product and service. This "rig" is for my heritage roughrider .22 sa revolver. The leather and construction are good quality and the sizing instructions are useful. There are 35 snug cartridge loops. You can adjust the holster for a more custom fit via a metal plate. My revolver has a 6 1/2" barrel so currently about 1" protrudes from the open bottom although I'm sure that I can further adjust it so it is flush (but this is not a real issue). The holster has an adjustable hammer loop and leg tie. Now I just have to practice my quick draw :).

got the .22 cal. belt and holster for my heritage .22 combo. ..1st off I was glad I came upon your site while researching gun belts. Best price out there. It arrived really fast and looks just like the picture...well made , heavy duty leather ! Love it.. the revolver fits like a glove..( I have the 7.5")...would fit a .45 colt..no problem. except for the ammo loops of coarse. but the holster it self could handle it. has leg tiedown..and hammer loop. I would highly recommend it. can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship ..especially for the price. has suggested, by your site, I ordered 4" larger than waist. fits and hangs perfect..makes me feel like John Wayne !

My Heritage Rough Rider 22mag fit just fine in the holster. The belt works well, even on my large frame. The rounds fit a little tight in the loops, but that is okay as they will not fall out easily. Overall, a fine piece of leather.

Received holster the I ordered in a timely manner, but even though it looks OK, my pet chiwahwah is scared to death of it. I know what I'm about to tell you is foolish but I've had something bad happen every day it has been in my house. Maybe it just coincidence but I'll briefly explain. Hole in my home's vinyl, knocked off my glasses and ran over them, put a bad dent in the door of my new car, and while taking a new fishing rod outfit out of a closet to give as a gift to my grandson the ceiling fan blade broke the rod. This all happened in first or 3 days I had it. Moved it to my shop. Spooky ain't it.
