I bought this gun belt on looks alone, just to wear practicing, and was blown away at the quality and detail for the money. I was pleasantly suprised, great product. Highly recomended!

Recently moved back to New Mexico, and join a wester reenactment group in Lincoln, New Mexico. Wore your rig with my Colt 45, and everyone3 wanted to know where I got it from. Naturally I told them I got it from your company. They, I me, were inpressed by how authentic it is. Couldn't be happier.

The workmanship is very good. The one thing I feel could have been better is the holster hangs down about 2 inches more that it should be. I will have it shortened by 2 inches for a better look as well fit.

I purchased this fast draw holster for my replica .45 Old West Revolver. It is definitely "fast draw"! The pistol can be cocked and drawn from this holster with lightening speed. Cheaper holsters are not designed to allow the cylinder to rotate, when cocked, while in a holster. Love my solid make rig! It took me three times to find the right fitting holster. It was worth having to return/exchange holsters to finally get the right fit! Worth the money.

It's made very well, however it's a little small in the waist size.

This is a beautiful gunbelt. Well made, crafted and tooled. Love the leather smell, genuine leather. Be careful measuring your waist size. I'd recommend going with your pants size and adding up to 4 to that size instead of measuring. My pant's size is 38, I got a 42 it's perfect. I highly recommend this gunbelt. It is gorgeous. I will buy more items from Historical Emporium!!!

Would not buy it again. The holster I had to hand mold to my gun, does not fit your gun even after you try to mold it to it. Very disapointed . Thought I was getting fast draw quality.

This is my 3rd holster and 2nd belt / holster form Historical Emporium. The leather quality and workmanship has always been 1st rate. My second belt/holster I thought would be the same color but was not, but it has grown on me because it's a deeper richer color. Whenever someone ask me where to get a holster and or belt, I always refer them to Historical Emporium.

This Holster was just exactly what I was looking for. It fit my six gun very well. Make sure you measure yourself around the hips where the holster will sit, not just around your waist.

This is a better gun belt than a lot I have seen. The leather is thick and tooled nicely and it fits well, provided you follow the measuring instructions. My 1860 Colt Army Sheriff's model fits really good in the holster. I would recommend applying some leather treatment post haste. My belt was a bit dry and drank a couple of liberal coatings like it was going out of style. Once moisturized and I customized a few little things to fit my use, I am very happy with my new belt. Thumbs up! I do wish the same style belt/holster was offered w/o the cartridge loops though. I would have bought that instead. I just removed the ones on my belt as they are un-needed when shooting black powder.

Just what I was looking for. Great drawing rig with 23 cartridge loops. Tailorable holster is a nice touch for getting the best fit and best drawing action. The ornamental leather work is well executed and overall craftsmanship of the rig is excellent. A very good product and a surprisingly low price for the fine quality.

I initially ordered the wrong size. The return and refund was very quick. I spoke to customer service and they were friendly and helpful regarding the reorder. The gun belt is beautifully made of top grain leather, I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

Today I never know just what level of quality I am going to get in a product. That said, when my holster arrived I was very impressed with the workmanship. It was a little wide for a single action army revolver but the integral metal layer between the two layers of leather compressed enough to take up the slack. Nice feature.

This holster has held up well, I got it for my Fiancée and he loves it I woodburned his name into the leather and it came out amazing! The leather quality is good and It will absorb protective oil. This holster looks amazing. The hoops for the bullets did expand a little so sometimes the bullets slip out. But overall I love it! And I am very pleased.

I was pleased with the first order and the quality and craftmanship of the first holster I ordered. But I was surprised as I removed the second holster order from the plastic bag. I bought this for my prized late grandfather's .44 mag Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 7.5 inch barrel. Reading reviews and seeing the price I was skeptical and anticipated having to return it when it arrived. There is a lot online about how the sizing recommendations for the belt listed on the Historical Emporium website was wrong and as waste of money. Well. I ordered this (and two others for a .22 6.5" barrel and and a .357 Super blackhawk 6.5" barrel) and the online order was very easy for me, despite the website looking older then most found today (I struggle to order amazon crap effectively). I ordered the sizing of the belt as directed on the website and after submitting the order, I got an email saying it would arrive in 10 days approximately, and a tracking number (this was on Thursday night at 1900 ish) A big blizzard storm blew in the next day and by Saturday we had a foot of snow. To my amazement, I received an email informing me they would arrive before noon. And they did! They were packed excellently. After opening I was stunned by the quality. I couldn't hardly talk for a min. The revolvers fit like a glove! I put them on one by one and they fit exactly as stated on the website. I was so impressed and shocked I actually called Historical Emporium that minute and left a very long voicemail gushing about how shocked and happy and thankful I was for them. This is the best purchase I've made in 40 years. If you are considering purchasing anything...

First length was way off, Second length was good. If you are going to buy this item then add 4 inches to your pants belt size. If you buy it too big, then it will hang too low and your arm will not reach the pistol.

I had been wanting to upgrade my double holster for sometime and had found cheaper ones online but the quality of the others were very poor. This one from the Historical Emporium cost a bit more but it made up for the quality, the amazing tooling and the feel once i put it on had my guns in it. I recommend it so much that I will be looking at getting a second one in the future

Love the double holster and presents well at cowboy shoots. Originally ordered per sizing chart but had to return/exchange for smaller size. Chart said to add 4" for my waist size but it was too large, exchanged for a size that matched my waist and it fit perfectly for my hips. Customer service rep (Leonard?) was a huge help, responsive to queries and updates on exchange status. Would definitely purchase from them in future.

I bought this for my husband. He loves it!!! Real strong leather smell, I like that but his allergies wont let him be around his holster til it airs out a bit.

Got my rig and loved. Unfortunately a problem developed after minimal use rendering holster unusable. Contacted customer service and sent pictures. They replaced rig free of charge and even let me keep first one. No questions asked. New rig is just as wonderful and is, so far, problem free. Revolver even fits better in this one.

This holster is nice. The materials and craftsmanship are better than I would expect at this price. If you are looking for a holster close to custom leather work that will fit your hard caliber revolver, I recommend this one. I've not seen better in this price range and have seen worse that cost more. I don't have hours of wear on the belt, but it appears to be built for purpose and not just some costume or show piece. Keep in mind that their measurements are tight and you will get what you order. You should do your measurements when wearing thick pants with full pockets and not in gym shorts like I did. The gun belt is a little snug worn over my jeans. I should have gone up another size but that is my fault. If anything it proves the listing is true to its word. They warn you several times in the description to be sure of your measurements and they mean it.

Perfect fit for my .45 single action pistol. It's a great fit & looks good too. You can't go wrong for the price.

Nice value, fit very well. Only a slight problem with the hammer loop, wasn't long enough to go over hammer. I would buy another though! Editor's Note: The hammer strap is meant to be adjustable, but sometimes gets stuck when the finish sets into the leather. If you pull on the strap with a little force, it should break free. You can then pull on the loose ends of the strap to tighten it over the hammer.

This is exactly what the price indicates. A decent piece of leather, somewhat thin in the belt. Hardware is just ok. This is a couple steps above straight costume, but to hold an $800 gun, spend the extra to get something more heavy duty.

this holster is 1 1/2" too short for my 8" .44 new model army. the holster is VERY loose and despite the "steel" layer inside, ostensibly used for crushing the holster flatter, it is nevertheless way too wide. looks real chineese. good costume gag but not functional.

The gun belt holster is the real deal. Not a toy. Solidly built. I will be taking this belt out hunting out in the woods and I don't expect any problems. If... I were to make one complaint, I think the manufacturer may have cut the large part of the belt behind the buckling strap a little short. Only the two inside holes for the buckling strap could be used. If I were to let it out to the third hole or farther the larger belt can't reach the loop that holds it in place behind the buckle. Luckily for me the 2nd to the tightest hole was the one that fits me. But if I ever needed to let it out any further the belt won't stay in place. Other than that... A#1 !!!

This was my third holster /gunbelt from you, very pleased with the quality and service, especially this last one. You erroneously sent me a RHD drop loop belt when I requested a LHD drop loop belt. One call with Leonard and a replacement and instructions on the return belt was on the way.

About 10 years ago i bought my first Gun belt from Historical Emporium and for a left hander finding the kind of Quality in a belt that didn't cost an arm and a leg this was the place for me The belts and holsters are thick quality leather the floral was great the dye is great everything about this belt is great so i bought another not because the other wore out but because i filled out When i ordered this one i ordered the wrong size and had to return it the customer service people were very courteous i sent it back on a Friday the next Saturday i was breaking it in . Other sites are using the advertising pictures for their products don't be fooled this is the place to be great quality at a great price.

I got this left hand draw tooled leather western styled gun belt/holster. I stuffed my smith/Wesson 44 mag Model 629-6 into it and fits like a glove. I walk around in a "open carry state" with a cannon on my hip so I mite as well look good doing it!! This is my way of saying "DONT TREAD ON ME " I have nothing bad to say about this item!! I totally recommend for all those who dare to be bold!! It's well made and thanks for not forgetting about us left handed people. It's fancy and functional! BUY THIS GUN BELT/holster I'm glad I did. This Gun Belt and Holster is perfect, I have a 32" waist, and my belt size is a 36", so I ordered it in a 36" and the belt fits perfectly, and it's the Gun Belt and Holster that hangs down on my side, it's beautifully hand tooled, since the dye does come of a little bit, I took an old white sock, and wiped it down really good, and now I have no problems with the dye coming off. I love them, nothing but perfection!!!
