The Longview Bible Shirt was exactly as described and fit to a "T. I really wish that I had discovered these people much earlier! I already have another order on the way. Clothing manufacturers have reduced the amounts of material in the names of styles and fashions in order to save money waaay past the point of imagination. I'm an old coot anyway but keeping shirt tails tucked in and sleeves approaching the elbows today are definitely challenging issues.

I liked how well it was made and the use of metal buttons. The shirt is a bit longer than I expected, but perhaps true to the style of it's times. I can make adjustments. Otherwise, it's going to look great at my next performance. I am going to look great. I compete in Western Dressage and my Historical Emporium attire brings a bit of class to the occasion, I am told.

This is a very nice quality shirt, I have found that for the money the dress shirts are the way to go. This is my 4th dress shirt, 2 from Frontier Classics and 2 from Scully, there nice shirts. Ive been harsh in the past on a (work shirt) I returned, I expected a better quality.

I wanted an authentic western shirt for my new hobby of Cowboy Action Shooting. I ran across Historical Emporium on the web and they had so many different patterns and colors of western shirts that it was difficult to make a decision. I finally decided on the Coulter style in black and white pinstripe. This is a great shirt, authentically styled and tailored and the pinstripes are visually very pleasing. Quality is quite nice and the large cut of the shirt is very comfortable. I am very pleased with the shirt.

Once again, I am simply delighted by the superior quality of this item, its authentic styling and true to size fit. It's also quite stylish and damned comfortable, to boot. I've only one, eensy problem with the shirts available here: I love french cuffs, and they simply aren't available on many of the shirts. You might want to seriously consider asking your manufacturer to offer them. Otherwise? Fine garment!

If you love the look of the Wild, Wild West, you will absolutely love the Coulter Shirt. This shirt has the perfect collar for a hand-tied bow or string tie. It is comfortable to wear and can go well with any solid-colored vest. The fit is fantastic! Best of all, it does not need dry cleaning. Machine wash in cold water and hang to dry for best results.

I ordered a Medium Coulter Shirt - and the sizing appears to run large. So, I returned it and ordered a Small, which fits perfectly (kind'a amazing because I don't wear a small *anything*!). The quality is impeccable and the shirt looks GREAT!

I wear these shirts with the Chadwick waistcoat over the top. The shirts fit very well, and look much nicer with a waistcoat than a more modern style shirt with a pointed collar. The material and colours are lovely.

All my life I've wanted one of these shirts. John Wayne movies, Rin Tin Tin TV show, whatever it was I wanted it! Concerned about fit and possible shrinkage I ordered the 3X version! Not only did it fit right away, but I am confident that even with some shrinkage it will still fit nicely! Good materials and fabric! Recommend!!

i’ve bought these shirts in every color! they’re fantastic! occasionally, i’ve received a shirt with buttons that are loose & these have to be re-sewn before wearing; otherwise, you’ll be trying to replace an irreplaceable button; thick cloth! great items!

The shirt seems authentic in all ways- very heavy fabric with excellent stitching detail. I was surprised at how large it is. I know the info stated it was cut full like the originals but I am an XL and have trouble getting XLs with adequate arm length. I ordered a 2XL just be be sure. It is big but better that than sleeves to my elbow. I think I would rather do a little tailoring than have it to small. The length is great also. All in all "excellent" but it was a bit pricey. I plan to wear it at the range when I shoot my Kentucky long rifle. Cheers REX

The denim Longview Bib-Shirt was my 6th shirt of that style... each one a different color. ( I have one of every color available in the Longview Bid style) For me, the style is kind of my > 'signature'. When wearing one, I get a lot of positive-comments when I take my wife dancing (Texas-two-step dancing). The style certainly fits the Western-Dance persona. Presently, I am waiting for a 'heads-up' from Historical Emporium, as to they're re-stocking of my size in, 'Brushed Twill Longhorn Shirt'_ colors Green and Gray... Livens up a plain white shirt and works well for those times when it's too hot to wear a jacket, but you want to looks somewhat "put together".

I was surprised at the price of sleeve garters as a whole, but considering their quality, I have no complaints. They look cool and pair well with the Virgil shirt and have multiple applications as far as types of outfits. The stitching is high-quality and don't feel like they'll ever fall apart. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I just returned from Tombstones "Helldorado Days" where I wanted to get my photo taken with the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday. I had wonderful black Frontier Classics trousers, red apache scarf, grey tweed vest and white banded collar shirt. I ended up hating the shirt. It made me feel like I was choking. I bought the Sinclair Edwardian shirts in all the colors available and LOVE them. With the proper ties I can leave the collar unbuttoned, breathe and still look good.

I most recently had the opportunity to attend a “Black Tie Chic” event. I did not want to purchase an entire tuxedo- what do to? I turned to the myriad of shirts at Historical Emporium to put together a “look”. To include the Tuxedo-look of the Sinclair Edwardian Club Collar Shirt and Gold Vest. Well let me tell you I looked sensational- some folks came up to me and said I looked dapper. I was worried about size but the shirt xxl fit fine- great cotton feel. I did have a bit of a problem with the vest - which I will comment later. Bottom line - I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you.

Ordered the Sinclair Edwardian Club Collar Shirt - Black in 2x as per sizing instructions, it was a perfect fit, looks awesome. Recently wore it with the Emerald Isle Vest and Emerald Isle Puff Tie, was told it looked "Very dapper"

1928 Roadster and like to period dress for events and occasions. These trousers, knickers, shirts etc. from Historical Emporium fit the bill. Even though they are earlier vintage, for working guys, they are still in style for the 20's, 20's and even 40"s. The fit is good and the quality high. Love the stuff! We are hosting the MAFCA 2024 National Convention at Ruidoso, NM in June and are rigging up for the festivities with new duds.

Great quality! I am always wary when purchasing shirts online because they never fit. I have a big neck so when I buy a collard shirt I have to get one with a big enough neck so I'm not choking but the rest of the shirt ends up a dress. Not this one! Great fit all around and buttons around my neck with a bit of room to spare. I took a chance and I hit a home run! I recommend this shirt.

Ordered on 30th of May from the UNITED KINGDOM,Arrived at my door 11th June,very impressed, I've been looking for this style of shirt here in U.K. but have not had much success I.e. Seen plenty with the white collar but sleeve cuffs have been same colour as the rest of the garment,nice feel to the material and all round good fit for me,perhaps cuffs could be made to accommodate cufflinks but in no way is this a criticism,Five Stars all the way from me as far as I'm concerned.Thank you.

After my initial purchase from historical Emporium for my steampunk ensemble, I realized that these were fine quality shirts to be wearing every day. The style is very authentic, late 1800's, and the fit and quality are superb. I highly recommend their shirts and trousers for everyday wear; it's a good look for me, and can be for you too.

This is a very professional-looking dress shirt. The white cuffs and collars give it a touch of elegance. Definitely wear it with a vest, but this shirt looks good both with and without a tie.

Perfect for use in holiday living history

Not only is this blouse incredibly comfortable, it's absolutely darling without being too much. I bought it for an event, but I wouldn't be surprised to find myself wearing it more often! Easy to care for, quality fabric and construction. I wish it was easier to find shirts I like this much, especially in later historical / retro styles.

Needed blouse to go with 1895 Waistcoat and this is the most beautiful blouse ever! Fabric is super soft, detailing is well done and neat. Attention to detail is exquisite. Just WOW! Thank you.

I wish I could rate the quality of this blouse (which I would give 5 stars because of the materials and construction) separately from the sizing (which had to be exchanged because it was way too large). After exchanging for a smaller size I ended up with a very lovely blouse which I was very happy with.

This was a post-christmas gift for my wife who has noted that she has very few blouses that still look good on her. I got this in an attempt to help in that regard. This Blouse filled the need quite nicely. I wanted something classy for her to wear on any semi-formal occaision that didn't look like she was putting on a costume. Nothing too frillly. I bought this one size higher than I normally would because I saw some comments they tend to run small. That was a smart choice on my part. She did alter the sleve cuffs to move the bottons in closer but other than that, it is a good fit.

I love the blouse. The body fits great. I only have two small issues to address for me personally. The blouse is a little too long but I plan to have that altered. Also, the cuffs are a bit loose and allow the cuffs to cover my hand. I have small wrists and it has nothing to do with the quality of the merchandise. I will have my alterations lady move the buttons over just about one inch and the blouse will be perfect. Please don't consider this a negative because I realize that every size, whether small, medium, large, etc. is meant to fit a wide variety of body types. Many of my clothes need to be altered because I have a short upper body and short arms. Thank you for a well constructed product and fast delivery. I know I will enjoy my blouse for years to come.

Worn with classic honey-colored Edwardian suit. Very comfortable and well made. I always sew in a Velcro spot at the neck seam if anticipating wearing a broach. The invisible spot reinforces the seam placement when holding the extra weight of the broach and prevents gaping.

Nice white blouse with pretty lace detail

This beautiful blouse is lined with the scratchiest sleeve heads (to make the sleeves stand out.) They are so abrasive that they made red welts on my shoulders. Fortunately, I was able to cover the raw edge of the sleeve head with some bias tape. Now the blouse is as comfortable as it is beautiful. The fabric is very good quality and in the workmanship other than the sleeve heads is excellent. The fit is mostly as specified. The cuffs on the sleeves are a bit peculiar in that they are cylindrical in shape rather than tapering toward the wrist. I can set over the buttons to make them look right, but the forearm is not cylindrical in shape and the long cuffs should not be either.

This blouse arrived quickly & was packaged well. It's beautiful & I received many compliments when I wore it as part of my Edwardian outfit in a parade. The only reason I had to give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the stitching inside the shoulders is very scratchy.

I needed a roomier blouse to wear for walking tours. This blouse, though not "authentic" gives the impression, fits well, and is room enough to enjoy wearing it in hot, active situations.

I wore this blouse for an 1894 costume while attending a Victorian Garden Party. It was perfect. The fit was just as expected. It is well-made. If you need a blouse like this, you can't go wrong getting this one.

I love this shirt! The only drawback is that it is 100% cotton, so it requires ironing. (Good for authenticity; not good for regular wear.) It would be nice if some of the clothing had "easy care" fabric-blend options.

This is a beautiful blouse but the fit was off on me. It gapped at the bust& the shoulders were a smidge too small but the sleeves were too long. Again, a lovely, well made blouse but just didn’t fit my athletic body type which is the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars & not 5.

I used the provided size guide and found it accurate. This is a lovely blouse, well-made, detailed, and well-finished. High quality, just like everything else I have purchased from Historical Emporium.

This blouse was pretty true to size, but did shrink slightly in the cold water wash, which was great for me. The blouse needs to be a bit more fitted, but a few darts will solve the problem, as wearing a corset gives it much more structure and period authenticity. The blouse would be even greater if it was lined, as the material allows the corset to show, so must wear a corset cover. Overall, I love this blouse!

This blouse is very well done. It fit nicely and will easily adapt to a number of looks.

I was amazed at how beautiful this blouset was. The details and workmanship were just wonderful. There were two problems though. I had to get a 2XL based on the measurement chart. I have never been even close to 2XL in my life. I would probably get the 1XL size for a blouse from Historical Emporium next time I order and I will buy again. But this blouse fits fine. I swear that the sleeves were the length of an orangutan's arms. I had to cut 4-5 inches off of them. Luckily I can sew and the sleeves/cuffs were sewn on in such a manner that the sleeve was easily separated from the cuff, sleeve shortened, and sewed back so that you can not tell that the cuff was ever touched. I am 5'6" and have a normal arm length. I think someone who is shorter than I, but still fits the sizing, will have a much bigger problem. Note that I had the same problem, and will be making this same comment, on the Tabitha outfit. I hope HE can correct this sizing problem. I may not always be able to accommodate the construction changes that will probably be necessary. Good thing I sew well, just to lazy to make my own outfits.

This is a well made garment, simple in design, but with historic accuracy.
