It's well made, well sized, and so far has no issues with a weighty .357. I don't find my own rounds in the dirt and off my belt, that is to say the ammunition loops do their jobs with 9mm, .357, and .38. I've shoved some 30-30 in there too while in the mountains. Looks good, looks gaudy, fits well, won't dump your pistol or ammo in the dirt before you're done with em. Comfortable to ride with, walk with, or sit with. Is it silly n' gaudy to wear this around? As gaudy as silver spurs with jinglebobs, but I've never known a buckaroo to shy away from flashy.

Exceptional Quality.

This is a really nice gun belt for the money. Think they are made in Mexico but you can get a lot of nice leather products in Mexico if you've ever been down there. Not sure if it's hand-tooled or not but the tooling is beautiful. Leather is thick and it has heavy duty stitching so I have no doubt that it will hold up for years to come. Everything is pretty stiff so I've been applying leather conditioner to mine to get it softened up. I ended up also buying their cross draw holster in the same color and it matched perfectly. Wanted to get geared up to start going to S.A.S.S. matches and this rig should work just fine. Everyone that sees it comments on how nice it is and can't believe how affordable it was. I am a 34 waist so I opted to get the 40" belt and it worked out pretty well. It's in the middle hole for me and it sits cocked down at an angle just below my regular belt. Inside of the holster is rigid and slightly bigger than my Uberti 1873 Cattleman II so the draw is quick but it certainly won't fall out plus it has a retention strap that goes around the hammer of the gun that is adjustable. Not much more to say...if you're looking for a gun belt you certainly can't go wrong with this one. Just watch your sizing. Gonna want to go up at least 2 sizes if not 3.

I am very pleased with the Gun Belt and Holster..I did Order the .38 / .357 but it does not fit me Ruger .357..GP 100. The Trigger guard needs a cut-out for it to slide in all the way.

Made really well with a nice pattern, my Taylor's and company 357 fit awesome and the bullets fit perfect in the belt. Only issue but not a big deal is Im a 32 waist and got a 34 but probably would have got a 36 if I had it to do over, just a little snug.

Product was as described. I wear a size 33 pants and ordered a size 38 like the instructions said. Fit perfect. Beautiful leather work and i love the smell of the fresh leather. Fits 45 long colt like a glove. I paid twice as much for one that doesn't compare to this one. Will order from again soon.

I am glad I went with the Two tone Brown. The tooling and reliefs are done with love and care. Too bad cartridges are unavailable or I would tell how they fit although judging from experience I think they'll fit nice and snug. The rig was OK I suppose but the cartridge loops were way to large for my cartridges and they would just fall out. I took it to the local leather shop and had the loops replaced now much better. I will be using this rig for " B-Western" in local SASS Cowboy Action Shooting competition but haven't used it yet as it is still winter here and practice hasen't even started yet.

Overall the rig is good, I was disappointed in the thickness of the leather. It feels a little cheap compared to my other rig. For the money I think it is an OK deal. I don't know if I would buy another rig here and just wait until I have the money to get a rig with better quality leather. If you are just starting out in Cowboy Action Shooting, this would be a good starter holster.

The workmanship is very good. The one thing I feel could have been better is the holster hangs down about 2 inches more that it should be. I will have it shortened by 2 inches for a better look as well fit.

I purchased this fast draw holster for my replica .45 Old West Revolver. It is definitely "fast draw"! The pistol can be cocked and drawn from this holster with lightening speed. Cheaper holsters are not designed to allow the cylinder to rotate, when cocked, while in a holster. Love my solid make rig! It took me three times to find the right fitting holster. It was worth having to return/exchange holsters to finally get the right fit! Worth the money.

This is a beautiful gunbelt. Well made, crafted and tooled. Love the leather smell, genuine leather. Be careful measuring your waist size. I'd recommend going with your pants size and adding up to 4 to that size instead of measuring. My pant's size is 38, I got a 42 it's perfect. I highly recommend this gunbelt. It is gorgeous. Just needed some gun leather for a couple of my 1873 colt clones. Holsters and belts fit and look like they should be in the 50's and 60's western movies I watched my cowboy hero's root and shoot them up in. I don my leather gun rig stand in front of the mirror and I'm a kid again. Of course, I skip the broom stick horse part. Seriously though, the holsters look great, do the job and for hundreds of dollars less then custom leather rigs. and i didn't have to wait 8 weeks to 4 months to get them. I got them in less than a week.

After returning first holster because it was too big I received second holster and the belt was too tight to go in buckle without a little forcing. Also although being 2" smaller I still had to put belt in next to last notch to keep it up. I have a 36" waist and ordered a 40" belt the second time. I believe belts should fit in center hole to look right. Otherwise it is a beautifully made and sturdy outfit.

I’ll skip the 5 star explanation; after all, one quick scan of this site and you’ll see countless 5 stars. Instead, I’ll focus on the product. I received a size 56 belt, single action army, .38/.357 caliber right hand draw holster combo in black. What can I say, I’m a large guy. I’ve own(ed) and professionally used countless holster/belts (to include wearing out a few) over 30 years. I also worked at a very large big box sporting Goods Company selling many of their rigs for every reason/season imaginable so I'll self-proclaim my expertise here. That said, before I lead with the phrase “for the price”, I need to back up and state, this holster/belt combo is by far more than what I expected. The quality is excellent, having 45 loops evenly stitched, both horizontally and vertically, while securely gripping each round was a pleasant surprise. The scalloped flower pattern is deep and tastefully done, the black dye did not bleed over any part of my clothing, the holster holds all of my SAAs (5.5 BBL) tightly once you’ve press and form the opening per instruction (if needed, this isn’t an absolute), and the fasteners, buckle and overall appearance is very good. I warn those who like to fast draw their SAA a lot, the trigger housing is completely cover (not accessible once holstered) and although the stitching contacting this point is reinforced, forcefully holstering your gun could split it over time. Here is wear a brass fastener (or round rivet) threaded across...

Love it, but I should have measured myself better I thought I would need a larger size. Nothing wrong with the belt just me. I would tell everyone to order this. The tooling on it is beautiful.

I like it. Only complaints are the snap on the holster came apart when I undid it (the inside part that doesn't show); and it only has 16 cartridge loops (something divisible by "6" would've made more sense). They are a good fit for the shells though. The stiff holster took a little manipulating to get a good fit (it almost seems too snug at first for a large frame revolver, but I think it's fine) and I'm still breaking the whole thing in, but it otherwise seems like good quality, and it even smells good... Thank you. I'd buy it again.

Very heavy duty real leather, six gun belt made in USA. Pay attention to the fitting instructions. They are accurate if followed correctly. Belt is quite stiff and will need to be broken in but excellent price for a belt and holster of this quality.

I recently fell into preparations for Halloween, and this piece of authentic workmanship is just the right amount of good 'ol western construction to help with my ensemble. I appreciate the attention to detail and the fully functional design. I am grateful for the craftsmanship and look forward to years of use. I was grateful to the warning to go large if I couldn't find my size, and discovered that the size up was just the right option. Worked with it some using the instructional documents that came with it to get a good fit for my prop, and I enjoy walking around the house and yard with it.

A very well made holster! Good and sturdy Mexican leather. Can't beat the quality and price! I am a 31 waist and measured my hips at 37" inches. I'm tall and thinnish/athletic, and I decided to go with a 38" inch holster instead of a 36" inch holster. Since I'm going to be wearing it outside of my pants with shirt tucked in, it takes up the "slack" nicely. My .45 sits in " the cradle" very well. The metal holster shank allows for a perfect gun fit. In the end: The holster fits well, so does my pistol. I'm VERY happy!

I bought this for my husband. He loves it!!! Real strong leather smell, I like that but his allergies wont let him be around his holster til it airs out a bit.

Got my rig and loved. Unfortunately a problem developed after minimal use rendering holster unusable. Contacted customer service and sent pictures. They replaced rig free of charge and even let me keep first one. No questions asked. New rig is just as wonderful and is, so far, problem free. Revolver even fits better in this one.

This holster is nice. The materials and craftsmanship are better than I would expect at this price. If you are looking for a holster close to custom leather work that will fit your hard caliber revolver, I recommend this one. I've not seen better in this price range and have seen worse that cost more. I don't have hours of wear on the belt, but it appears to be built for purpose and not just some costume or show piece. Keep in mind that their measurements are tight and you will get what you order. You should do your measurements when wearing thick pants with full pockets and not in gym shorts like I did. The gun belt is a little snug worn over my jeans. I should have gone up another size but that is my fault. If anything it proves the listing is true to its word. They warn you several times in the description to be sure of your measurements and they mean it.

Perfect fit for my .45 single action pistol. It's a great fit & looks good too. You can't go wrong for the price.

Belt came well packaged and upon inspection was well made and looks great. Doesn't fit pistol as well as I thought but need to spend some time with it and get used to it to make any real judgments but will try another for the 45.

Everything looks good. issue # 1 size is too big. if you are 36 ask for 38 not 4 size bigger per website. issue #2. color is bleeding. it not lot, but after handling for about 30 minutes. I can see black dye all over my hand. let it dry for a week and dye is still coming off. I am now looking for leather sealer. issue #3 main belt looks like two part. edges are sealed nice. but in the center about 6 inches, was not sealed properly. per website if you wear it no return. I do like the belt, not very good detail.

Bought this holster belt on a whim, it looked like what the real western cowboys would have and was definitely worth the price. Belt would not buckle into last hole in the belt. Rivet was showing signs of rust. holster seemed to big around the cylinder area. tooling looked great and over all construction is good. will last a long time and lots of use.

I purchased this item for my Ruger revolver. The holster is excellent quality and after following the instructions, it fits my gun very well. I followed the sizing instructions and ordered the size indicated. The belt runs on the big side. I have to put the belt in the very last hole to fit properly. If you are in between sizes, order the smaller one.

The holster was to big for my Colt 22 revolver even after adjusting the size per the online directions. Was able to put the holster (which fit my Colt 22 revolver) on the belt which came with the holster. Now I has an outfit which is usable. Would like to see holster belts, like the one ordered offered without the holster so that one would not have to order a complete outfit (belt and holster) if one's waist size changed.
