Strong and long
Good fit, as the description says they come incredibly long so you may need them taken in. Material is very thick, coarse, and somewhat rigid, though that will probably change with wear. That being said, I think you really could wear these doing hard labor and they would hold up.

Durable canvas in an old-fashioned style
These pants are made with modern quality but old-fashioned style. Single back pocket, two extremely deep front pockets, with buttons on the fly instead of a zipper. They fit me perfectly thanks to the sizing tips H.E. provided, save for the length which is one size (extremely long). Expect to hem these when you get them. Great quality for a reasonable price.

The classic high waist pants were not only comfortable, but also had the feel of a tough, old time pants that would last in the old West. The best thing about the high waist was that the lack of a belt interfering with my holster. Very important for Cowboy Action Shooting. Very satisfied with these pants, just gotta get them hemmed, can't walk around with them rolled up! The dark black definitely fits in with my 1890's mortician outfit, hope they fade less than Levi's. Shipping came in much quicker than expected on the West coast.

Description indicated 100%cotton. It truly is, and extremely heavy and durable. I bought a size up as suggested and it fit a bit loose. I did wash and dry and the looseness is gone. I’m quite surprised with this pant. I’ll wear it out for fun with a white shirt so it looks good and snappy. I intend to buy the other two colors. I’m happy to find a button fly to make them unique. Good go Historical Emporium!

I bought these for riding my motorcycle, once I had them tailored for my length. I had lots of left over material, so my tailor made me leg pockets for my wallet and glasses, now I have the ultimate riding pants, outstanding in the comfort level, in the overall fit bang on, with braces the comfort level is upped and above what you want. Did a 9 hour ride on the weekend from inland to the lakes, a lot of people had to stop and put their chaps on because their legs got cold, these pants held off the cold and then even were comfortable when we were into the heat. My pants for my month long bike ride.....thanks so much.....
