Very well made with good quality leather. Sizing is correct by the chart. holster was almost a perfect fit for my Taylor Arms Smoke Wagon 45 LC 5.5 inch barreled Single Action Revolver. All it took was a 30 second adjustment to the holster and it fits like a glove, not too tight and not too lose. Shell loops are a great fit for the 45 LC shells as well tight but easy to remove. Belt is a little stiff, (a little Needs foot oil will solve that quickly). but doesn't cut or dig. Do wish the Tie down thong was a little heaver leather, but easy to change. Great Rig over all. At a great price.

Perfect fit measured as instructed. Nice two tone and tooling. Not sure how it will fit my gun yet since it is delayed in shipping from a Sporting goods shop. It is well made from quality leather the craftsmanship is top notch.

I have purchased items online that looked good and were disappointing upon arrival. The description of the holster gave me hope that I had found a reputable seller. The photos were very promising. I was hoping for decent leather and adequate thickness. When my holster arrived much sooner than expected I was pleased. When I opened the carton the holster was gorgeous. The picture doesn't do it the justice it deserved. When I picked up the holster I was pleased with the weight of the leather. I next put on the holster at belt level, and the belt fit fine. Next I placed.the holster in "quick draw" location slanting down from left hip. I emptied my Pietta .45 Colt Long and placed it in the holster. I then tested the smoothness for drawing the weapon. The inner leather of the holster was.smooth and I did not feel any snag in drawing the pistol. It was a perfect fit. Last the cartridge loops are a perfect fit. I loaded every loop and each shell is snugly held in place. I have no worries of shells being lost off the belt. On a scale of 1 to 5 I rate this holster a 6. Whether you are buying for western competition or just looks I do recommend this company.

The rig was OK I suppose but the cartridge loops were way to large for my cartridges and they would just fall out. I took it to the local leather shop and had the loops replaced now much better. I will be using this rig for " B-Western" in local SASS Cowboy Action Shooting competition but haven't used it yet as it is still winter here and practice hasen't even started yet.

Overall the rig is good, I was disappointed in the thickness of the leather. It feels a little cheap compared to my other rig. For the money I think it is an OK deal. I don't know if I would buy another rig here and just wait until I have the money to get a rig with better quality leather. If you are just starting out in Cowboy Action Shooting, this would be a good starter holster.

I like this holster, wish I had ordered a size smaller but that is on me, I was paranoid about getting it too small. Still gorgeous and my Traditions Frontier S.A.s fit perfectly. Also had a very generous amount of ammo loops (22 loops that fit .45 long colt perfectly). Can't go wrong ordering this rig especially from Western Emporium!

Its excellent. Follow their fitment instructions to the letter. I have found zero issues with the rig, and it's a daily wearer here in Texas while I'm at work. Holds my 1873 45LC very nicely. This isn't made for fast draw if you're planning on that, there are many leather companies that make dedicated rigs for fast draw. It doesn't feel cheep or flimsy. Stitches are good and the brass is nice. Can't recommend enough. Todd

Beautiful holster and belt, obviously real and thick leather. Shells fit right in the loops and my Cimarron pistolero (colt peacemaker clone) was a perfect fit that Required no additional stretching or anything. My one complaint is my own fault, and that’s the sizing. I wear a 40 pant and using their measurements I should’ve gotten a 50 inch belt. Instead I got a 52 and it’s a bit too large even tightened all the way. I hate dealing with shippings and returns so I decided I’ll just have it adjusted later. Bought on a Sunday night received it a day early on that Wednesday.

This holster was the best I have found. Hand tooling was perfect not just pressed like others. Great workmanship through out. Should last years down the road.

This is a really nice tooled leather gunbelt, well made, heavy duty and quite beautiful. Smith and Wesson model 586 with 6” barrel fits nicely. I have 33” waist for pants, I ordered size 40, it’s fine but I could have gone 38”. There is a fairly good amount of adjustability with all the belt holes at the buckle so it’s fine. But my advice would be, if you are 32 or 33 waist, get size 38 and it will be right in the middle of adjustment. This is a very good product at any price, but for the low price they charge it is incredible! Leather goods made in Mexico are very traditional old west.

Love the color, rounds fit nicely, feels great, except for the holster is a bit small for the full size gun, my 22 caliber fit well but the.357 is rather snug, not easy for quick draw or holstered the gun, can this be fix?

I am sooo very proud of my new gun holster and belt!! I am a woman, living in the country, with rattle snakes, coyotes, bob cats, and even a mountain lion, for real, in our front yard. I love the outdoors, work outside and love landscaping work. Because of where we live, the wild life I have met face to face, I need a gun and holster. The holster is magnificent, fits superb at my hips, and allows me to work outside comfortably with it's comfortable fit and tie down for the leg holster, plus extra shells when I need them. What a beautiful rig. My Uberti 1873 Cattleman just slid into the holster like I had been forming it for a month. Workmanship and quality for the price is excellent. I ordered my rig on Wednesday at midday and it was at my house on Virginia Beach VA by Friday evening. My only gripe is my fault in the measuring other than that couldn't be more pleased

I do a lot of research when I go to spend more than $100, and I looked online for about 2 months before I chose to go with this holster. I always kept coming back to this one. I had just recently bought a Ruger Ner Vaquero .357 magnum which fit the holder well! It was delivered quickly and was just as advertised. There are "better" holsters out there, but this is the best for the money that I found. I'm not a cowboy and this is not an everyday wear for me, but I will enjoy it when I do. I'm completely happy with it and would definitely a purchase it again.

Exceptional Quality.

This is a really nice gun belt for the money. Think they are made in Mexico but you can get a lot of nice leather products in Mexico if you've ever been down there. Not sure if it's hand-tooled or not but the tooling is beautiful. Leather is thick and it has heavy duty stitching so I have no doubt that it will hold up for years to come. Everything is pretty stiff so I've been applying leather conditioner to mine to get it softened up. I ended up also buying their cross draw holster in the same color and it matched perfectly. Wanted to get geared up to start going to S.A.S.S. matches and this rig should work just fine. Everyone that sees it comments on how nice it is and can't believe how affordable it was. I am a 34 waist so I opted to get the 40" belt and it worked out pretty well. It's in the middle hole for me and it sits cocked down at an angle just below my regular belt. Inside of the holster is rigid and slightly bigger than my Uberti 1873 Cattleman II so the draw is quick but it certainly won't fall out plus it has a retention strap that goes around the hammer of the gun that is adjustable. Not much more to say...if you're looking for a gun belt you certainly can't go wrong with this one. Just watch your sizing. Gonna want to go up at least 2 sizes if not 3.

I am very pleased with the Gun Belt and Holster..I did Order the .38 / .357 but it does not fit me Ruger .357..GP 100. The Trigger guard needs a cut-out for it to slide in all the way.

Made really well with a nice pattern, my Taylor's and company 357 fit awesome and the bullets fit perfect in the belt. Only issue but not a big deal is Im a 32 waist and got a 34 but probably would have got a 36 if I had it to do over, just a little snug.

Product was as described. I wear a size 33 pants and ordered a size 38 like the instructions said. Fit perfect. Beautiful leather work and i love the smell of the fresh leather. Fits 45 long colt like a glove. I paid twice as much for one that doesn't compare to this one. Will order from again soon.

I am glad I went with the Two tone Brown. The tooling and reliefs are done with love and care. Too bad cartridges are unavailable or I would tell how they fit although judging from experience I think they'll fit nice and snug. Fits like a dream (once I got the measurements right) holds my Ruger Blackhawk like a glove. Make sure you measure the way they show you... if you are in a hurry, you will be returning it. But the customer service goes above and beyond to make you happy!.

This holster set-up is the finest workmanship East of the Pecos. Don't be fooled by those half priced imitations. Those are sewn in the back so they save on leather. This belt is one piece, end to end. Those holsters (and probably the belt also) are only finished on one side. So the exposed face at the gun grip is not the same as the belt. The tooling is exquisite, I didn't see a flaw anywhere. And the two tone staining gives it the old time original look.

this holster is 1 1/2" too short for my 8" .44 new model army. the holster is VERY loose and despite the "steel" layer inside, ostensibly used for crushing the holster flatter, it is nevertheless way too wide. looks real chineese. good costume gag but not functional.

The gun belt holster is the real deal. Not a toy. Solidly built. I will be taking this belt out hunting out in the woods and I don't expect any problems. If... I were to make one complaint, I think the manufacturer may have cut the large part of the belt behind the buckling strap a little short. Only the two inside holes for the buckling strap could be used. If I were to let it out to the third hole or farther the larger belt can't reach the loop that holds it in place behind the buckle. Luckily for me the 2nd to the tightest hole was the one that fits me. But if I ever needed to let it out any further the belt won't stay in place. Other than that... A#1 !!!

The gun belt/holster was quality construction. Other reviews mentioned the strong dye aroma. I wiped it down with a soft cotton cloth per the enclosed instructions and let it hang in the garage for a few days. Plus I coated it with some mink oil and it was fine. The cartridge loops hold the .45 Colt cartridges snugly, and my Colt SAA fits like it's been in that holster for years. A lighter color in this model would be a nice option.

I'll likely use it for the local cowboy fast draw competition. It's light & comfortable so you don't know you're wearing it. Very satisfied

I purchased the Western Gun Belt and Holster for my .45 cal revolver. The belt measurement suggestion was accurate and I ended up with a good fit. The ammo loops were also a good fit. The holster itself worked very nicely. My pistol fit well with only minor, simple adjustment. The quality of the leather is very good. Overall, an excellent Western Gun Belt and Holster.

I'm not really into the cowboy scene but with my purchase of a new western styled revolver, I had to complete the collection with a western styled holster and belt. I looked at several other sites including Amazon and saw what they had to offer. Unfortunately looking at photos really won't show the quality and I had to go by price. While those sites offered cheaper rigs, this one was in the higher price range, but had better reviews and did look great in the photos, so I ordered it. The sales person was easy to talk too, knew the holster I was looking at and while never gave a sale pitch to buy it, she did explain the quality and look of the rig. When it arrived, it was much better than I expected with very high quality leather, a good fit for the gun and it looks great. It was definitely worth the money. I did order the size recommended which was 4" bigger than my waist it was a perfect fit. The buckle is clean and easy to use, the hammer strap is just right and easy to adjust, and as I mentioned, it fit my Uberti .45 5 1/3" pistol just right. I do recommend this or other designs from this company.

Made in Mexico, I really expected better quality. The leather is thin and looks to be poor quality. It doesnt look like it would last very long.

Not true to size. Dying of the leather was uneven and splotchy. Construction was shoddy especially at the buckle end of the gunbelt.

Fabulous belt. Measurement process is perfect. I used my shotshell bag to get the proper fit/slant. Pant size is 34 but belt fit measured to 42. My Colt 45 fits perfect. Only improvement will be to upgrade the buckle to a beefy brass unit. Will also need to oil the leg strap and hammer strap so they're more soft and flexible. Outstanding fit, finish, and gun fit!

This is a better gun belt than a lot I have seen. The leather is thick and tooled nicely and it fits well, provided you follow the measuring instructions. My 1860 Colt Army Sheriff's model fits really good in the holster. I would recommend applying some leather treatment post haste. My belt was a bit dry and drank a couple of liberal coatings like it was going out of style. Once moisturized and I customized a few little things to fit my use, I am very happy with my new belt. Thumbs up! I do wish the same style belt/holster was offered w/o the cartridge loops though. I would have bought that instead. I just removed the ones on my belt as they are un-needed when shooting black powder.

Just what I was looking for. Great drawing rig with 23 cartridge loops. Tailorable holster is a nice touch for getting the best fit and best drawing action. I bought this for a .357 mag Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 6.5 inch barrel. Reading reviews and seeing the price I was skeptical and anticipated having to return it when it arrived. There is a lot online about how the sizing recommendations for the belt listed on the Historical Emporium website was wrong and as waste of money. Well. I ordered this (and two others for a .22 6.5" barrel and and a .44 mag Super blackhawk 7.5" barrel) and the online order was very easy for me, despite the website looking older then most found today (I struggle to order amazon crap effectively). I ordered the sizing of the belt as directed on the website and after submitting the order, I got an email saying it would arrive in 10 days approximately, and a tracking number (this was on Thursday night at 1900 ish) A big blizzard storm blew in the next day and by Saturday we had a foot of snow. To my amazement, I received an email informing me they would arrive before noon. And they did! They were packed excellently. After opening I was stunned by the quality. I couldn't hardly talk for a min. The revolvers fit like a glove! I put them on one by one and they fit exactly as stated on the website. I was so impressed and shocked I actually called Historical Emporium that minute and left a very long voicemail gushing about how shocked and happy and thankful I was for them. I love the look of the belt & holster but I followed the directions when sizing my belt and the belt I ordered was far too large. I returned it and got the next size down and that belt was too large. Now I'm returning this belt and I am requesting one that is 6" smaller than my originial purchase. My complaint is everytime I send the belt back I'm paying shipping both ways. This next belt will be my 3rd belt.

No special reason for the order. Just wanted something to carry my six gun in when going out to shoot. Nice rigging and shipping was faster than I was told. Thank you again!

I was really impressed by the quality of this holster, not just for the price point, but in general. The description is spot on, this is a real full grain leather holster with beautiful tooling and great attention to detail. The only gripe I have is that there are only 11 bullet loops on the belt I received. Now, I don't know if this is because I'm a skinny guy (30 inch waist) and ordered the smallest size, or because they only come with 11 loops. Your mileage may vary.

Very heavy duty real leather, six gun belt made in USA. Pay attention to the fitting instructions. They are accurate if followed correctly. Belt is quite stiff and will need to be broken in but excellent price for a belt and holster of this quality.

I recently fell into preparations for Halloween, and this piece of authentic workmanship is just the right amount of good 'ol western construction to help with my ensemble. I appreciate the attention to detail and the fully functional design. I am grateful for the craftsmanship and look forward to years of use. I was grateful to the warning to go large if I couldn't find my size, and discovered that the size up was just the right option. Worked with it some using the instructional documents that came with it to get a good fit for my prop, and I enjoy walking around the house and yard with it.

A very well made holster! Good and sturdy Mexican leather. Can't beat the quality and price! I am a 31 waist and measured my hips at 37" inches. I'm tall and thinnish/athletic, and I decided to go with a 38" inch holster instead of a 36" inch holster. Since I'm going to be wearing it outside of my pants with shirt tucked in, it takes up the "slack" nicely. My .45 sits in " the cradle" very well. The metal holster shank allows for a perfect gun fit. In the end: The holster fits well, so does my pistol. I'm VERY happy!

I had bought a Smith & Wesson .357 with a 6 inch barrel, and though it was a modern style weapon, it made me feel like it was western 6 shooter. I wasn't sure if it would fit in a western style holster, but that seemed like the only proper way to holster it. I received the holster and was very happy with it. The gun fit nicely. The trigger strap is adjustable. I had bought two speed loaders and a case to hold them, and they fit on the belt and are the same color. Looks great, fits great.
