Fit and finish is great. Not so much as a scratch on the leather and my 58 remingtons fit perfectly after fitting. The holsters, one, a rh side draw and a rh crossdraw balance the weight perfectly. I will highly recommend Historical Emporium to everyone.

I was pleased with the first order and the quality and craftmanship of the first holster I ordered. But I was surprised as I removed the second holster order from the plastic bag. The holster was on the belt but it was improperly reversed. Not quite okay....but funny. I easily changed it, no harm done. Thanks.

I bought this for my prized late grandfather's .44 mag Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 7.5 inch barrel. Reading reviews and seeing the price I was skeptical and anticipated having to return it when it arrived. There is a lot online about how the sizing recommendations for the belt listed on the Historical Emporium website was wrong and as waste of money. Well. I ordered this (and two others for a .22 6.5" barrel and and a .357 Super blackhawk 6.5" barrel) and the online order was very easy for me, despite the website looking older then most found today (I struggle to order amazon crap effectively). I ordered the sizing of the belt as directed on the website and after submitting the order, I got an email saying it would arrive in 10 days approximately, and a tracking number (this was on Thursday night at 1900 ish) A big blizzard storm blew in the next day and by Saturday we had a foot of snow. To my amazement, I received an email informing me they would arrive before noon. And they did! They were packed excellently. After opening I was stunned by the quality. I couldn't hardly talk for a min. The revolvers fit like a glove! I put them on one by one and they fit exactly as stated on the website. I was so impressed and shocked I actually called Historical Emporium that minute and left a very long voicemail gushing about how shocked and happy and thankful I was for them. This is the best purchase I've made in 40 years. If you are considering purchasing anything...

First length was way off, Second length was good. If you are going to buy this item then add 4 inches to your pants belt size. If you buy it too big, then it will hang too low and your arm will not reach the pistol.

I am in love with the quality of my belt and holster. It doesnt try to be too flashy and is just over all appealing on the eye, while also being sturdy and reliable. Gonna buy a Cross draw holster to go with it once I get another revolver.

In that there are no "brick and mortar" outlets in my rural area that allowed me to "touch and feel" the gun belt and holster I needed for my Ruger Vaquero 38/357 revolver (Bisley grip), I did an extensive web search. Prices varied from about $70 to over $300, but only Historic Emporium offered the variety of products and obvious commitment to the entire culture of our American Western history. Customer comments were detailed and very helpful, along with specific recommendations by Historic Emporium Customer Service. The quality of my belt and holster is superb, and size recommendation from Customer service smack on. The steel casing sandwiched between the double layer holster saddle allowed me to hand form the holster to a perfect fit for my Bisley Vaquero (5.5" barrel) in only minutes, with no water soaking needed. The ammo loops are perfectly sized, firmly gripping the 38/357 rounds. The hammer loop was a bit short for the Bisley hammer format, but easily adjustable. The stainless steel revolver with ivory grips presents a stunning and authoritative appearance in this high quality, plain black leather.

This double holster is beautifully crafted out of high quality materials. A very welcome addition to my firearms closet. I'd purchase again. Customer service is also a pleasant experience. These folks care about their product and their customer satisfaction.

I loved the look of the holsters and the tooling on the leather. Belt is way too small. I ordered a size larger than my normal size and the belt is about 3 sizes too small. Luckily I was able to figure out an extension but this the cost, I expected it to fit.

Do not buy this product!

Not the best of materials, or best of craftsmanship by any means. However, those types of holsters will cost between $800, and $1200, AND have up to a 3 month delivery time, believe me I've shopped around. So for under $200 this belt and holsters now support 7 pounds of lethal steel and looks good doing it, so much so that my local gun store is using my image wearing this belt to promote "Wheel Gun Wednesdays". So with that, and fast shipping, and customer service I'll give ya'll a 5 star.

Very heavy duty real leather, six gun belt made in USA. Pay attention to the fitting instructions. They are accurate if followed correctly. Belt is quite stiff and will need to be broken in but excellent price for a belt and holster of this quality.

I recently fell into preparations for Halloween, and this piece of authentic workmanship is just the right amount of good 'ol western construction to help with my ensemble. A very well made holster! Good and sturdy Mexican leather. Can't beat the quality and price! I am a 31 waist and measured my hips at 37" inches. I'm tall and thinnish/athletic, and I decided to go with a 38" inch holster instead of a 36" inch holster. Since I'm going to be wearing it outside of my pants with shirt tucked in, it takes up the "slack" nicely. My .45 sits in " the cradle" very well. The metal holster shank allows for a perfect gun fit. In the end: The holster fits well, so does my pistol. I'm VERY happy!

I bought this holster for my two six shooters, Ruger Vaquero Bisleys with 5.5" barrels, and I love it. They are for my first foray into cowboy shooting, and it looks and feels (and smells!) great! I had to make a change to get the right size, my waste is about 32" and the 34" belt fits well. The customer service was fantastic! Note to future buyers- the belt is not straight. If you lay it flat, it is curved, and the size is based on the distance across the top of the curve. But that curve is what lets the belt sit flat around the hips. I will be back for more authentic cowboy clothes and accessories!

I had been searching for sometime for a dual holster with appeal as well as being useful. This holster was absolutely fantastic. The tooling on it was unbelievably terrific. Recently moved back to New Mexico, and join a wester reenactment group in Lincoln, New Mexico. Wore your rig with my Colt 45, and everyone3 wanted to know where I got it from. Naturally I told them I got it from your company. They, I me, were inpressed by how authentic it is. Couldn't be happier.

The workmanship is very good. The one thing I feel could have been better is the holster hangs down about 2 inches more that it should be. I will have it shortened by 2 inches for a better look as well fit.

I purchased this fast draw holster for my replica .45 Old West Revolver. It is definitely "fast draw"! The pistol can be cocked and drawn from this holster with lightening speed. Cheaper holsters are not designed to allow the cylinder to rotate, when cocked, while in a holster. Love my solid make rig! It took me three times to find the right fitting holster. It was worth having to return/exchange holsters to finally get the right fit! Worth the money.

It's made very well, however it's a little small in the waist size.

This is a beautiful gunbelt. Well made, crafted and tooled. Love the leather smell, genuine leather. Be careful measuring your waist size. I'd recommend going with your pants size and adding up to 4 to that size instead of measuring. My pant's size is 38, I got a 42 it's perfect. I highly recommend this gunbelt. It is gorgeous. this holster is 1 1/2" too short for my 8" .44 new model army. the holster is VERY loose and despite the "steel" layer inside, ostensibly used for crushing the holster flatter, it is nevertheless way too wide. looks real chineese. good costume gag but not functional.

The gun belt holster is the real deal. Not a toy. Solidly built. I will be taking this belt out hunting out in the woods and I don't expect any problems. If... I were to make one complaint, I think the manufacturer may have cut the large part of the belt behind the buckling strap a little short. Only the two inside holes for the buckling strap could be used. If I were to let it out to the third hole or farther the larger belt can't reach the loop that holds it in place behind the buckle. Luckily for me the 2nd to the tightest hole was the one that fits me. But if I ever needed to let it out any further the belt won't stay in place. Other than that... A#1 !!!

I love my left hand western belt and holster set. It fits perfectly and is very handsome. You are one of the few places a left hand western shooter can find authentic gear that is not a special order nightmare.

The quality of these gun belts is way better than I thought. It's absolutely gorgeous. I have not been able to use it yet as I had to send it back for an exchange because I ordered the wrong size and it falls off without the gun in it. I would recommend this gun belt and holster combo to anyone looking for a nice addition to their revolver. I will say though don't follow their sizing chart though I ordered a 44 and probably needed a 40 I ordered a 38 for my exchange as I'm still loosing weight and figured it has 6-8 inches of adjustment. I love the look of the belt & holster but I followed the directions when sizing my belt and the belt I ordered was far too large. I returned it and got the next size down and that belt was too large. Now I'm returning this belt and I am requesting one that is 6" smaller than my originial purchase. My complaint is everytime I send the belt back I'm paying shipping both ways. This next belt will be my 3rd belt.

I was really impressed by the quality of this holster, not just for the price point, but in general. The description is spot on, this is a real full grain leather holster with beautiful tooling and great attention to detail. The only gripe I have is that there are only 11 bullet loops on the belt I received. Now, I don't know if this is because I'm a skinny guy (30 inch waist) and ordered the smallest size, or because they only come with 11 loops. Your mileage may vary.
