Easy two-gun rig
This holster is perfect for adding a second gun to my new right hand drop leg rig that I purchased from Historical Emporium. So I'm in a western show! Lots of fight scenes horseback riding etc. I only did the belt hold up two guns it barely shifted and stayed in place very comfortable although thick. But works great Love the smell of leather it comes with.

Order came sooner than I figured . Very easy to form to the 45 and my 51/2" Cattleman clears it very fast and smooth. Takes awhile to calm down the smell but is well worth the wait. The leather is worked well and is better than

Solid but a little 'angle limited'
Love the holster which is excellent quality. My single complaint (if worthwhile) is that the wrap around providing the angle is pretty loose which limits how far you can angle the holster. Will need to make some modifications to create more angle.

Overall, this is a great holster and reflects the influence of the old time West. My only surprise was that it didn't cover the trigger better. My second surprise was that the leather "strings" weren't lower, to tie around one's leg. These are not really complaints, simply observations that seemed unchacteristic of a western holster.

I bought this holster for my Uberti 1873 Cattleman .357 revolver. It's made from quality heavy leather and the craftsmanship is very nice.
The holster fits my belt perfectly, and it fits my revolver perfectly. The only issue I have is that the hammer loop does not reach my revolvers hammer. I'll have to do a little bit of modification before Spring comes.

I am satisfied with the holster and the price. I will field try it after I repair the inferior quality used to hold the leather strap at the belt loop. The button simply cannot hold the holster in place after it runs through the belt to hold it in the proper position. Said more simple, the holster and gun fall on the ground.
Thank you, I am not complaining for the price. I will replace defective button with leather. There will be no structural problem after that work.

I shoot Cowboy action shooting, and being left handed usually limits my selection on holsters. I got this one as I shoot cross draw and like the wide open mouth for easy reholstering when I transition pistols. the lining helps hold the shape and mouth open for this purpose. From the moment I pulled this out of the packaging I knew it was of a certain quality.
It is a sturdy and appealing holster. Well made for the most part and looks like it will stand up to the rigors of use.
I have only one complaint that reduces this product to 4 stars. The hammer loop appears to be glued in place and cannot be adjusted. This wouldn't necessarily be an issue except that adequate length wasn't allowed before the gluing so the hammer loop does not hook over the hammer of my revolver. I am loathe to make the modification myself but I see no other option.
I am delighted with every other aspect of the product.

Good looking holster with thick leather. The only problem I have with it is the dye comes off on your hands when you first handle it. It takes a lot of rubbing to get it to the condition you need.
