Sits well but material??
The underskirt, once again, was made of material that really has me wondering. It's like a nylon that I think will have me sweating in the coming months. I've given it a 4 star but I'm not 100% sure on that yet

Quality workmanship and materials, but poorly executed. The top is held up by a sweat pant style string that has to be tied. It's beautiful when worn, but a pain to put on and take off.

I needed this underskirt for an upcoming community theater production. I am plus sized and was concerned whether it would fit or not. The fit is great! the drawsting waist make this very versatile. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Edwardian Hoop Skirt. It has a nice fullness , is long enough for me in my heeled granny boots (I'm 5' 9"barefoot).The description on the website is accurate. I can't wait to wear it under one of my gowns I wear ad a docent at my local historical society this summer.

Exactly what I needed
I was a little nervous about ordering this skirt after reading some of the other reviews, but now that I've received the underskirt, I have no idea what they were talking about. The hoop was in perfect shape, and I do not notice any annoying sounds from the hoop. Hoop skirts "swoosh" -- I did not notice anything unusual about the sound. It gives my skirt the right amount of fullness, and I love being able to choose whether or not I want the hoop or just the underskirt. My only possible complaint is that it is long. I'm 5'8", not exactly short, and it reaches the floor in bare feet. But it's easy enough to tie it a little above my waist, and my corset will hold it in place.

I was very disappointed with this hoop skirt, and returned it. The material is a very cheap bright white nylon acetate (that sounded like camping tent fabric everytime it moved) with coarse tulle that sticks out funny, and the hoop in mine was bent from being crammed into a teeny tiny box for shipping.

It arrived quickly and I was excited to try it on but it was much too big to work under any of my skirts. I did try to reduce the size by adjusting the hoops but I was unable to make them small enough. I returned it.

just the thing for heavy gowns
I purchased a Victorian gown made of heavy cotton, and a petticoat wasn't cutting it. This bone hoop skirt holds the heavy weight out and gives much needed air flow! I like the adjustable waist, but I do pin it to make sure it doesn't let go at the string.

Underskirt seems well made works perfectly with the skirt my wife is wearing. Only "complaint" is the hoops are slightly egg shaped from being in shipping box but i'm sure they will fine after letting sit in their normal position.

I really like this hoop skirt. It is nicely made and very comfortable. I wear a size 14 and got a large, but probably should have purchased a medium. However, it is easy to adjust the waist and I am going to keep it.

I love this underskirt!!!! It is perfect for filling out full skirts!! I have no complaints about it, save one. If you are a 38" waist you don't have to order the larger size. It also got here super fast!! It took 4 days to get from California to North Dakota!! Best underskirt I've ever found!!!
