Congratulations to our winner, Meredith Barnes, pictured here wearing our Brown Convertible Riding Skirt and Blue Ladies Essential Work Shirt all from Historical Emporium.

Wearing the convertible skirt in brown coupled with the ladies embroidered work shirt in blue, I present to you: Annie Oakley. I wore this outfit at the Spanish American War event held at Fort Mott in Pennsville, NJ. It’s 1898 so a little bit more mature, Annie would have been 38 at the time, already leaving the Wild West show for a time to semi-retire to New Jersey. She would rejoin the Wild West show as they toured the country. Contemporary photo by Shane Paulus.
