Congratulations to our winner, Ryan Nikkel, pictured here wearing the Blue River Trail Vest, Callahan Dress Trousers, Wing Collar Dress Shirt, John Bull Top Hat, Farnsworth Satin Puff Tie, Black Satin Sleeve Garters (One Pair)* all from the Historical Emporium.

That is why my photos are indoors & just me. I enjoy the clothes and my own reenactment…. In the safety of my home.
I thought I would suggest that there might be more people like myself, who would love to participate but anxiety or some other circumstance causes them to not be able to leave the house very often.
Everything stained glass in the photos was made by me. I make jewelry boxes, suncatchers & lanterns/lamps.
I want to say that in the depths of depression from my disability I looked for what I loved since there was plenty I disliked all around me. The courage to begin my studio, if you read my first blog, came from the inspiration of the Victorian spirit. The courage to follow my convictions. Your clothing played an integral part in that development….. sometimes you need to dress for the job you want I guess. -Ryan
