I purchase from Historical Emporium on a regular basis as I have not seen any equivalent clothing styles to suit my needs in the U.K. But that said if there were I would still make Historical Emporium my first and only choice.The deciding factors being for me are A) quality, B) wide variety of styles and choice C) speed of delivery and top quality customer service. This of course is only my opinion but I would have no hesitation or doubts recommending this 'site' to others.

Less than a week before her wedding, my daughter informed me that the colors would be black/white and green. A day or two after that, she sent me a photo of the tie she was going to be wearing. So I'm in a bit of a panic, and I think, "Hey, I get all kinds of cool stuff at Historical Emporium. I wonder if they can get this to me on time?" So I look up the emerald green vest that I wanted and call in to order it, and have it shipped as fast as possible TO UTAH (since I'd be leaving my home in Eureka, CA before it was even shipped). The support person said, "No problem, we can get it there via normal two-day." I worry and ask if I need to pay for overnight. They quote me the difference, and then say, "It'll get to Utah on Thursday, no problem. Overnight will only get it there one day earlier." So I trust them, and it gets there the day before I do! (Did I mention I drove there, and it took me three days?) The vest and matching tie are perfect. I also got an ivory hat band for my top hat. I supplemented it with my blue striped trousers... that I originally bought from the Emporium. Fantastic. Of course, my daughter looked better, because... well, she's my daughter. Lovely wedding!

Good selection of the hat type. Delivery was fast and packaging very sturdy.

The service is extremely great, and yall have a great selection of items that I like to wear, the price and quality is very much important to me.

Re: questions on sizes etc. were answered promptly. I ordered a size larger than I normally get as imported garments run smaller or slim. The shirt was true to size though. Everything else is fine. I'm happy.

Our initial order came very quickly - within a week, which is faster than I anticipated, given the nationwide labor and goods shortages and that it was being sent literally from coast to coast. Unfortunately, it turned out we ordered the wrong size, so we had to ship it back for an exchange. If it's ever possible in the future, it would be amazing if some of the shipping for exchanges could be covered or discounted, as between the initial order and the exchange we paid a total of around $35 in shipping fees. That said, the service team sent us back the smaller hat size in much less time than the website suggested they would, which was a lovely surprise! I'm very pleased with how efficient the team is.
