I am a costume designer, and I bought three garments from Historical Emporium (2 coats and a pair of trousers), and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The garments are well made with quality materials and attention to detail. These things will definitely hold up well during the show's rehearsals and run time. I plan on ordering from here again!

Overall, i am generally very happy with the products and services from Historical Emporium. I live in the UK, so however, i would just add that once the postal shipping charges plus the customs tax charges are added, buying products from Historical Emporium can work out as a rather expensive proposition. Of course, i understand that this is no fault of your good selves, though it does very much put me off buying from you in future. IF An item is over a certain price, an exorbitant customs charge is added. Combined with the postage, it can work out to a rather hefty expense. Can't fault your wonderful products of course, but the added expense does put me off somewhat. Best Regards Jack

Everything about dealing with historicalemporium.com was superb. My parents retired early and ran their own costume shop for 34 years. I was involved in the shop and can only say my parents would have been thrilled to have had access to a company like historicalemporium for some of their costume needs. Historical Emporium is one of my "go-to" sources for mid to late 19th century clothes and etceteras. I say 'one' because other sources provide additional options that are unavailable at HE. I like HE's offerings and quality, so I am by no means diminishing HE. Obviously, I'll be back.
