Arrived much more quickly than I expected. They washed well. Excellent fabric. Waist is a smidge too big, but that can be remedied. Overall I am well pleased with my experience and with the product!

Wonderful experience! In the winter I like to play golf in knickers to keep water from wicking up my pant legs. I usually purchase my solid color knickers from golfknickers.com, but I wanted to buy a pair of plaid knickers so I checked out Historical Emporium. I am quite impressed with the black and white plaid knickers that I purchased. I am quite impressed with both the quality and price of the ones I bought! Customer service was fantastic. I used the measuring guidelines given which in no way worked. The item I received was WAY too big. Spoke to customer service about the issue and ordered a new item that fits very nice. Return of the first one was handled rapidly.

Your clothing merchandise is very good quality . It is well made , from good quality materials . Everything I have got , while not cheap , is priced fairly and a good value for the money . The clothes fit , and look great , which is not something I have been able to find for a long time . I had one item I returned ( a pair of Trousers I ordered , which I ordered to big to make sure exactly what size I needed ) . Your customer service people handled the return and the replacement promptly , professionally , and courteously . The only other issue I had was with a pull-up strap on a pair of high topped riding boots that fails the first time I tried to put them on . I called your customer service , talked to them , sent a few pictures to them , and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction by the next day !There is no business that doesn't have a problem from time to time , what matters is how the problems are handled . The way your business handled them in my experience , is fair , prompt , and professional . You can't ask for more ! Your company is very easy to do business with , and is obviously well run and staffed by good people . I have used Hist Emp many times over the years and always been satsified with the service. I orderd this particular hat on the 5th and received it on the 7th. Thats fast!
