Overall, i am generally very happy with the products and services from Historical Emporium.
I live in the UK, so however, i would just add that once the postal shipping charges plus the customs tax charges are added, buying products from Historical Emporium can work out as a rather expensive proposition.
Of course, i understand that this is no fault of your good selves, though it does very much put me off buying from you in future. IF An item is over a certain price, an exorbitant customs charge is added. Combined with the postage, it can work out to a rather hefty expense.
Can't fault your wonderful products of course, but the added expense does put me off somewhat.

This has been one of the best online purchasing experience ever. The quality of the items is extremely good, not costume at all but real quality made clothing. The sizes run true and the materials and workmanship are good, far better than most regular clothing catalog purchases at similar price.
We are renovating an historic edwardian period ranch and mansion in rural Colorado mountain town. The mansion is in good shape now, the interior is renovated and partially furnished. Our intent is to give tours and hold events hosted by docents representing the family that owned and operated the ranch. So we have characters of all types from state senator to and his wife, former socialite from Chicago to ranch hands. Historic Emporium has anything we could want in order to make this authentic.

I ordered a victorian Top Hat to surprise my husband for our anniversary. I had to be sneaky and measure his head without him suspecting anything. I used the sizing guidelines and bought him a large. Unfortunately, when it arrived we discovered the large was too large. We were going to exchange it for another in medium, but found that the shipping return was more than half the price of the hat itself. Upon explaining my situation to customer service, they immediately sent me a medium and in the box a return label. I simply put the large hat into the box that the medium came in and drove it straight to the UPS store. Thank you so much for your help and trusting me to return the too large hat. That's tops in my book! You guys are the greatest.

I ordered a size too large and had to exchange the hat. To expedite shipping on the right size, I went ahead and reordered. The process was easy, my card credited back within hours of historical Emporium receiving return, the new shipment had already gone out and arrived earlier than expected. Nothing but a great customer experience and how we all wish everything would go in life. I'm totally happy.

Y'all were great and the boots were exactly as described. I wore them into Shreveport yesterday and received compliments on my boots .
