I purchase from Historical Emporium on a regular basis as I have not seen any equivalent clothing styles to suit my needs in the U.K. But that said if there were I would still make Historical Emporium my first and only choice.The deciding factors being for me are A) quality, B) wide variety of styles and choice C) speed of delivery and top quality customer service. This of course is only my opinion but I would have no hesitation or doubts recommending this 'site' to others.

Wonderful experience! In the winter I like to play golf in knickers to keep water from wicking up my pant legs. I usually purchase my solid color knickers from golfknickers.com, but I wanted to buy a pair of plaid knickers so I checked out Historical Emporium. I am quite impressed with the black and white plaid knickers that I purchased. I am quite impressed with both the quality and price of the ones I bought! I have been looking for a holster That I could afford for a couple of years. I kept going back to this one thinking it must be made cheaper than the ones what I was looking at. Then the price came down and I had to buy it. What a suprise. I am very happy with the quality and the whole experience. Thank you.

I had to return a blouse that was too small. The website recommended ordering a replacement rather than doing a straight exchange, and returning the too-small blouse for a refund. This was suggested as the fastest way to get the right size blouse quickly, rather than encountering a possible processing delay with an exchange. This worked very nicely. I got my new blouse in a couple of days and my refund a day or so later. I had dreaded the hassle of an exchange, but this method worked very smoothly. Happily, the blouse was packing in a standard USPS flat box, on a hanger, folded neatly with two pins and covered with a plastic sleeve. The blouse was ready to try on, and easy to repack neatly when it didn't fit. I don't expect to need to return any future blouses I order now that I know how the sizing runs, but it was nice to learn that returns were nothing to be dreaded.

I am a first time customer of Historical Emporium and was very satisfied with their communication and speedy delivery. Cross border customs costs are very expensive if you are ordering outside of the U.S
