Customer service was fantastic. I used the measuring guidelines given which in no way worked. The item I received was WAY too big. Spoke to customer service about the issue and ordered a new item that fits very nice. Return of the first one was handled rapidly.

I received my order promptly and was amazed at the quality of the garments I ordered. I can wear them "on the regular" for an entire day and they will hold up well. Better made than most in retail. Seamings, buttons, fabric, and finishes were superior quality. AND, the garments even came with hangers!

Everything about dealing with historicalemporium.com was superb. My parents retired early and ran their own costume shop for 34 years. I was involved in the shop and can only say my parents would have been thrilled to have had access to a company like historicalemporium for some of their costume needs. I have been actively reenacting the Old West, since the late 1960's, and have performed in both live action shows, and films, which required extras, and stunt people, familiar with the West, and the Indian, and Civil War, periods. But, in those days...if we could not find the actual, authentic, clothes, and equipment to use...and the wardrobe department was unable to provide the proper items...we hand made everything we wore, ourselves. There were NO places like the Historical Emporium in existence at that time. So, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your firm's existence! I am now 70 years old, having just reached my 50th year of marriage to the same women, whom I MET in a STUNT SHOW, playing a Saloon Girl, where I first talked to her ON STAGE, for the first time. In celebration of this anniversary, we are throwing an Old West Party, on my ranch near Austin, Texas...where everyone dresses like its the 1880's...inviting everyone we know. This is why I bought my things from you people...and I cannot be more pleased I did so! Thank you!!
