When I called, they answered immediately and were very helpful and quick to make an exchange, and it was shipped to me in 2 days with a return label for the exchange. The item was exactly what I wanted, the fit was right, and the quality is second to none. I will recommend this seller to anyone interested in buying this type of clothing and gear.

Sizing chart for the item I purchased seems to be inaccurate resulting in the need for an exchange but wasn't significant as the young man I spoke to in customer service was a great help with this, specially since it was an international order involving tax and broker issues. Overall though it was a great shopping experience. The item I purchased is absolutely beautiful, very top quality and exactly as I hoped it to be. Historical Emporium is one of my "go-to" sources for mid to late 19th century clothes and etceteras. I say 'one' because other sources provide additional options that are unavailable at HE. I like HE's offerings and quality, so I am by no means diminishing HE. Obviously, I'll be back.

every thing was great,, but the sizeing on the shirts sucks, I ordered a small, like 14/14/1/2, I am a small person,, the shirt fit my grand son who is 190 lbs & ex, large,,, but I will live with it , I have A sewing Machine,,
