Over the years, I have purchased four blouses and several skirts for my Victorian time period. I have always been very pleased with the quality and service. I have found the skirts to run a little large in the waist, but there are extra buttons to make easy adjustments. Blouses are always my perfect fit. Various jewelry purchases always get compliments. There have been occasions when I chose Historical Emporium garments because they are shipped more rapidly than competitors. My husband has a full Victorian outfit from Historical Emporium that he is proud to wear, plus two different top hats. He carried the grey one in his car to put on whenever visiting our History Center!

Sizing chart for the item I purchased seems to be inaccurate resulting in the need for an exchange but wasn't significant as the young man I spoke to in customer service was a great help with this, specially since it was an international order involving tax and broker issues. Overall though it was a great shopping experience. The item I purchased is absolutely beautiful, very top quality and exactly as I hoped it to be. I would certainly purchase from Historicalemporium again and recommend them to friends.

I've made purchases from historical emporium several times before. I live in the West U.S. (Colorado and New Mexico) and like the frontier style of your shirts. Every shirt I've purchased with this style looks excellent along with my flat-topped western hats and my cowboy boots. The complete look is true west - not "Hollywood fakey". I get compliments on what I wear almost every day - from family, friends, and - even from folks I don't know, at a store or shopping mall or gas station for example! I was very impressed with the speed of the shipment of my purchase. The quality of the product was outstanding. When I needed to change the size, the service was incredible.

The person I talked to was nice and helpful. He stated that I could return the vest to get a different size and what to do. But I decided to keep vest. I had a lot of good compliments about them.
