I called to get guidance on how to get the proper fit. Great advice.

I've been buying a lot of clothes from Historical Emporium this year, so I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for a mere 4-star Google review I gave it last summer. I had ordered a gunbelt from them that turned out to be difficult to keep buckled, and I suggested that some sort of diagram should have been included with the gunbelt to show people how to wear it. To my surprise, I heard from someone at Historical Emporium who suggested that the gunbelt might be defective, and who asked for a photo of the gunbelt. As it turned out, it was indeed defective, and was replaced at no charge. Otherwise, the clothes have been splendid, the shipping has been generally prompt, and the service has been sterling. Thank you very much.

Your clothing merchandise is very good quality . It is well made , from good quality materials . Everything I have got , while not cheap , is priced fairly and a good value for the money . The clothes fit , and look great , which is not something I have been able to find for a long time . I had one item I returned ( a pair of Trousers I ordered , which I ordered to big to make sure exactly what size I needed ) . Your customer service people handled the return and the replacement promptly , professionally , and courteously . The only other issue I had was with a pull-up strap on a pair of high topped riding boots that fails the first time I tried to put them on . I called your customer service , talked to them , sent a few pictures to them , and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction by the next day !There is no business that doesn't have a problem from time to time , what matters is how the problems are handled . The way your business handled them in my experience , is fair , prompt , and professional . You can't ask for more ! Your company is very easy to do business with , and is obviously well run and staffed by good people . I have already recommended you to several friends , and look forward to doing business with you in the future !

Great quality material. This is clothing, not a cheap Halloween costume. You can wear it to a reenactor's event or to an important meeting at work. Six star rating (not 5)
