Good pants, only I wish I would buy not canvas ones, but others from softer fabric.

I love these daks... I wear them all the time .. I will be back for more...

I'm very happy with the quality of these trousers, they washed up nicely. These are not a light weight summer trouser by any means. At this point I don't know how the color will hold up after a few washes with them being crimson. It looks to me like these trousers will last for a very long time, even if the washing machine fades the color.

I followed the recommendation of purchasing these trousers a waist size larger than what I normally would wear. Instead of a 42 waist a 44...perfect fit in the waist, very comfortable, the workmanship seems to be high quality. I like these trousers very much.

Giving this five stars because they fit very well, once shortened by the tailor. They will look just right as my husband works at a Victorian Western theme park. These crimson pants will be used while he's running a carousel and a Ferris wheel at birthday parties. I'm hoping that they will not fade with frequent washing as the last pair did. That pair which we ordered about 6 months ago, was black and lost their sharp color within a few weeks. He can still wear them while teaching gold panning on different nights, as the faded look works OK with his 49'rs character. But for the price, I'd hoped for more. He will probably stick to browns from now on as they fade much less. This is Jim's 5th set of trousers from Historical Emporium in the past 3 or 4 years. If they were a bit less we'd probably purchase them more often.

I am 6" 1' and weight 183 lbs and normally wear a size 34 for normal pants. So I ordered a size 36 for the crimson canvas and it fits me very well. Had to get the length adjusted by a professional tailor. Despite not having a lining, the canvas pants are very soft and comfortable. Will probably go for the olive green next time.

Professional Santa needs work and less formal clothes. These period trousers are perfect for Santa to wear with special needs kids and adults that are intimidated by the full formal Santa look. C9lor is a dark purple-ish crimonson, which is a nice change, but woild like a good scarlet in Santa size. They also are tough enough to take the wear and tear of people sitting on your lap. Wash up nice, kind of yack tolerant. Will buy again.

I really like these pants. They fit well; the waist is high so that it looks better compare to todays 'low-riding' pants. I like the long inseam because I can hem the pants to my desired length. I will certainly show at Historical Emporium again!

Pants look great. The fit is good, if you realize that they intentionally ride very high (middle of my stomach) and *need* suspenders.

The high waist seemed uncomfortable at first, but they make perfect sense with a waistcoat. It's hard to slouch while wearing that combination.

I like the trousers but would like them even more if they fitted me. Despite following your explicit measuring formula exlicitly, the tousers were so big that i could have fitted myself into them twice. I had the trousers as a gift from my wife on Christmas day. You can imagine her disappointment when i unpacked my present. After having paid import duty and the shipping cost they became a rather expensive pair of trousers which I can't use. Dissapointment all round. As we don't live just around the corner (Europe) it's too difficult to come around to exchange them for a smaller pair that would fit me and too expensive. So here we are, i'm stuck with them. May I suggest that you review your measuring chart, or, if the chart is correct check that the garment measures up the the size on the label. It's a pity that things didn't turn out as we had hoped.

Sizing, quality, color, everything about the pants were amazing.. I am a big and tall person and I am both amazed and satisfied with the product in everyway. Thank you!
