The original old west pants - durable, handsome and historically accurate. A basic for every wardrobe.

100% cotton, unlined, hemmed with 36 inch inseam. Straight boot-cut bottom. Machine wash or dry clean. Features button fly, three front pockets, one back pocket, adjustable back and suspender buttons. Available in sizes 26 - 52. This style is available in several colors.

Please note that these pants sit approximately 1 inch higher on the body than modern pants do. Therefore, most people need to order one size up from their customary size.

Sizing Notes

As you can see from the photos, these old fashioned trousers sit higher on the body than modern pants do.

For best fit, measure your torso (in inches) just below your belly button, and select this size of trousers.

In many cases, this will be one or more size above your customary pants size.
Inseam

Our trousers come with a 36 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

Great Pants
Very durable and work nicely as work pants. They look great with suspenders. The pockets aren't as easy access as normal pants, but they still work good.

Wahmaker Frontier Pants
These pants are great, very sturdy and a great color. They are very comfortable as well. This is the second pair of canvas pants I have bought from Historical Emporium and have found that they stand up very well to wear and tear. *Note: for those who have never bought a pair of pants like this, you need suspenders (sold on this site as well) to wear these pants effectively.*

Excellent Trousers!
I took the advice of everyone who left a review. Buy these in a size larger than your regular pants size. It'll be much more comfortable. These are the best quality trousers I've seen. They're sturdy and will make the envy of others. Great for working in or making a statement. You won't be disappointed.

I bought these to use as work pants I wanted American made and machine washable. These pants by Wahmaker are both. Since they have pockets they are practical for everyday use and comfortable to wear! I am extremely pleased worth every penny. I wear my pants once a week. And I am a blue collar guy so these pants see some wear and tear if you know what I mean.

Nice pants but
I bought these as a woman to wear. They are amazing and the quality is wonderful but the buckle in the back has some kind of strange prong closure that makes it stick out and it will not stay flat. It is uncomfortable when sitting or leaning against a hard surface. Not much I can do except change out the buckle for another type since I've already washed the pants. Otherwise very nice.

Great pants
The Frontier Canvas pants are some great looking trousers whose riveted button fly and suspender buttons make it feel really authentic. The canvas construction gives it a weight and texture you just can't get today.

I ordered these pants for my husband and he is already asking for another pair. He says they are very comfortable and help support his back. I ordered one size up from his normal size and the length was perfect. The bonus is that they are made in the USA!

Wahmaker canvas pants
It may take some getting used to the 19th cent. fit. These are correct and well made. I had to exchange my original pair for a larger size by 3"larger than my actual waist. They sit at the bellybutton, so bare this in mind. Once used to them, with a pair of suspenders, they re comfortable and actually easier on the stomach than modern pants. Highly recommended.

Frontier Canvas Pants
I bought a pair of Wahmaker pants 15 years ago. They still look good. When I decided to buy another pair, I found the store was no longer there. I found your site on line and am pleased to say that the pants were exactly like my first pair. Actually, they are better. I gained weight over the years and the new pants fit a lot better. The quality is excellent and the fit is very comfortable. I look forward to buying more pants in the near future.

These pants are excellent quality. They come really long. I had to hem them by hand which was extremely difficult because the weave was so tight.
