Centuries ago, women used to conceal removable “pockets” under voluminous skirts, but as fashion swung to the shapelier silhouette favored by Victorian and Edwardian women, purses became an accessory to “see” and be “seen” hanging from a belt or draped delicately over the wrist.
Our Rose Purse is absolutely stunning with beadwork, sequins and diamond-like stones embellishing an iridescent brown satin pouch. Intricate, antiqued hardware decks out the clasp that also sparkles with two rhinestones set to resemble little rosebuds. Two removable chains are included -- a wrist-length chain with a 6˝-inch drop and shoulder-length chain with a 20-inch drop.
Measures 9-inches in width and 7-inches from bottom to top of clasp. Imported.
