During the latter half of the 19th century, ready made shirts came in a single (extra long) sleeve length. Sleeve garters allowed men to customize sleeve lengths, and keep their clothing from becoming soiled while working.

Our garters are USA-made with fancy silk jacquard fabric and offered in a variety of colors. Recommended for arms with a 12-16 inch circumference.
